Yep, I’m ranting. Have fun! He has no respect for the US. He has no respect for ANYTHING. If you’re not for him, and he doesn’t really believe anyone is for him, you’re against him. It’s all me, me, me. How in the hell is this clown supposed to run the COUNTRY when he has no respect for anyone and anything. DOJ, FBI (please let Kash Patel be denied), Democrats (ok pushing yer luck here, Orangutan, because you just might need those Democrats, but you’re going to have to WORK (do you know what work even is?) for their support and in no way will it be easy) and then wants the CIA to get involved when they do not, CANNOT engage in domestic affairs?
And repeating myself, once he gets sworn in, Absolute. Immunity. He owns most of SCOTUS and after that stupid, ridiculous, self-serving, legally absurd decision, it’s going to be nothing but bad for the country. He can literally do any damn thing he wants to. And SCOTUS won’t stop him. I’m actually impressed with Judge Merchan. He’s not letting the Cheez-Whiz Tater Tot get off scot-free. He IS a convicted felon and will continue to BE one.
He will do whatever he wants. He will try to push things through. He will write half a hundred executive orders to change things. But President Biden is smarter than people think right now, especially after his failure in the debate. He is putting things in place that CAN’T be changed that easily. He is doing the most he can to keep some of the sanity in our country. People had written him off, but he planned for the future when the Orangsicle gets into office and has meltdowns, because he’s going to discover it won’t be that easy to change things. Expect many Truth Social 3am rants. It’s all about “ME”. Too bad so sad.
I actually found it very entertaining to see his rants about the Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients. Hilary Clinton. Ohhh that was lovely to see. George Soros. The same. And he CANNOT take them back. The awards are done. That’s it. That’s all written. You can’t do a thing about it, Orange Asshole. It doesn’t matter what you try. You gave one to Rush Limbaugh, of all people. RUSH. LIMBAUGH. Dyamn that made me choke. That guy, lawd NO. Freedom, my ass. Rabblerouser is better. Derogatory asshole that should have been shoved off a pier with a rock around his neck. So just deal with it. Throw more ketchup. But deal with it.
“The US is breaking down, crime is up” blah, blah, blah. Same story different words. That says something else about him, that he uses the same words All. The. Time. Dude has no creativity. He says the same thing and can’t come up with anything new. So people just yawn and skip his ranting to go to the next story. Crime is DOWN. Border crossings are DOWN. But because they didn’t happen under YOU, oh vain one, you have to say the opposite. I could hope MAGA gets tired of the same thing all the time and starts thinking for themselves. I hope they realize their idol is just an tired old man who lacks intelligence and is going to send our country into the dark. It probably won’t happen but if just ONE person thinks and changes….
So what the hell can we do with this man? Well, us here at Politizoom can keep writing about the madness. We can keep writing about the inanity of what he says and does. We can do our part, small as it may be, and not give up the fight. Midterms are coming and us liberals need to work to bring in the blue wave and take our country back. Enough of this Republican nonsense. Enough of this back-biting. Enough of this bull$h*t. We need to take our country back, and anything, no matter how small, is something in the fight. Anything can start small and grow. It’s time for Democrats to stop being gloom and doom and negative and crying. WAKE UP PEOPLE. There *are* things we can do! Reach out to your representatives. Bring your chin up! Do NOT give up just because the Orange Baby Balloon is President. He is a lame duck and will only have 4 years. I think he won’t be able to change that to President “as long as he wants”. If I recall correctly, it needs 60% of Congress to change things (like the birthright citizenship which I will address at another time) and I seriously doubt our smart people in Congress will agree to that. The Democrats still have power – it’s just very subtle right now. We can bring our majority back with work and persistence. WE DO NOT NEED TO GIVE UP. Heads up, folks! It’s time to move on and do this thing! (End rant.)

We have to organize and start electing dems from dog catcher on up. That’s how the tea party did it. We need to do the same.
Not a single race should get to election day without a Democrat, a REAL Democrat that’s proven their bona fides on the ballot. We’ve done better in recent times but too often there are races, especially at the local and state level where Democrats don’t even field a candidate. If it’s in blood red territory and they lose that sucks but in time it DOES make a difference. Moreover by having candidates out there in those swaths of red areas we can activate seemingly small amounts of voters in this or that town or county that ADD UP and can tip the balance in state level and Congressional (both House and Senate) races.
It took less than two years for the Koch brothers to concieve and fund the “grassroots” Tea Party that overwhelmed the system in 2010 and put the GOP in charge of redistricting in a Census year. That affected control of states, and also Congress. They’ve kept at it.
Here’s one last point which I’ve made to my own local Party canvassers. You say every race from dog catcher on up. I know you mean that more than as a figure of speech but in a way it’s literally what we need to be doing. The thing is, in many local races there’s no Party affiliation listed. Quirks of state and local laws. EVERY county Democratic Party needs to put out a voter guide for such races. School Boards. Soil and Water commissioners and stuff like that. I happen to live in a county in a metro area (I live in a suburb adjacent to Raleigh, NC) with a robust Board of Elections website but when it comes to a number of these offices almost no one knows of, much less thinks about until they fill out a ballot there’s precious little information about the candidates if the race(s) is noted at all.
Some of these positions matter a great deal at times and for example if I’m trying to pick the right candidates for the Soil and Water Commission I want to know that person’s record on conservation and environmental issues.. Wetlands, creeks, and more come under these people’s jurisdiction and most voters don’t have a clue. So NOW is the time to press your County Party officials to start addressing things like this. And raising hell to make sure that even if in what will be a losing cause field a Democrat in every race to find someone willing to step up.
Denis, you’re kind of forgetting that the Kochs had some help in creating that Tea Party nonsense: Fox “News.” Murdoch and his minions were all too ready to give the Teabaggers every little bit of help and gave them the necessary platform to spew their bigot-laden bull hockey. Not to mention all the other right-wing media (like Limbaugh) that held sway over way too much of the AM radio dial that allowed the garbage to spew all through rural America–and there was also a whole lot more stations on satellite radio that hosted the lunatics.
The Democrats, unfortunately, do NOT have that system to help out. Even the “liberal” media is more willing to kowtow to the right-wing–in the name of “balance.” During Obama’s term, the “liberal” media flocked to give airtime to ANY GOPer so they could criticize (with NO pushback from the media interviewer or reporter) every single Obama policy but when it came to Democrats, it was crickets–none of the media was out there interviewing Pelosi or any of the other leading Congressional Democrats to get their side. Oh, no. The media got the “official government” position from the White House and then got “reactions” from GOPers (usually two or three GOPers were asked for their feelings about whatever policy was being pushed by the Administration)–that was it.
But, whenever a GOPer is in office (Dubya from 2001 to 2008 or Trump from 2017 to 2020), did the media go to Democrats for reactions or opinions on the “official government” position? Oh, hells no. Their first reaction was to get a GOP booster shot, or two or three and *IF* time allowed, they MIGHT talk to a Democrat (funny how there never seemed to be enough time for a comment from a Democrat) and panel shows? It is to laugh. The panel would be stacked to support the GOP side whether the White House was in Dem or GOP hands and whether Congress was in Dem or GOP hands.
Hard for the peasants to overthrow a king when he has ownership of the airwaves and the money to lop off heads.
