I was regaling the Furkids with the difference the internet has made to my life by making it possible to meet people in real-time and even face-to-face. I’ve made the most wonderful and valued friends in places I’ve never visited – Ursula, Susan, Marti, Sebastiene, Sarah and everyone in the Creative Sprints group, the beloved members of the Freebird family, fellow YouTube chatterers and all their adorable furkids!
The Furkids were keen to add that they’ve made thousands of friends too, including heaps more aunts and uncles, all of whom they adore! (Of course, they also felt it was important to note that furkids feature prominently on all the most consequential areas of the interwebs.)
Therefore, this weekend the Furkids chose a song to honour all their friends and furriends, and to reassure you that they love you and are with you every step of the way as you travel your life path. They also love this saying, recalled by Sebastiene from a poster she liked:
You never stand so tall
as when you bend down
to help somebody.
For the jukebox this weekend, the Furkids tell me they just gathered up coins they found “lying around” (I find it best not to ask for details, but if you’re missing some loose change you had somewhere in the house, you now know what happened to it).
