This week, the choice of song was mine. It’s been one of my enduring favourites ever since I first heard it as a child, long ago last century. The recording on the video is also the same one I listened to back then when I became – and remain – the hugest fan of the pianist, Roger Williams.

Initially, the song is orchestral, but this didn’t faze the team one bit. They were very enthusiastic about illustrating a ballad with the instrumental section in the first part of the song. However, this does involve the Furkids writing their own lyrics, which is always exasperating because they have some really odd ideas fun. Fortunately, it’s easy to follow along with the piano playing the melody. In the second half of the song, you’ll be able to sing the original lyrics along with the choir.

Now we’re all set! The jukebox is full of coins, and the rest is easy. Just press play, scroll down to the illustrated lyrics and sing along!

Thank you to everyone who bought the Furkids a frothy Kofi last week. All proceeds from ko-fi.com/furkids go towards Loula’s health and well-being. We’re saving up for her next vet visit. In the meantime, Loula sends everyone loads of purrs, snuggles and kitty kisses. 💝 💖 💝
