I hope that I can keep on the site long enough to crank out these words of explanation. The site was down most of yesterday and it started to crash again about an hour ago. We were cooking along just fine with a hit piece.
Long story short, I have been in negotiations with Bluehost and after yesterday and today I don’t think I can stay with them unless they make me some stellar offer to do so and I doubt that they will.
I think this matter is headed for court and I’m going to have to migrate the server to another hosting provider.
Bare, Bayer, bear with us as we navigate some rough pieces of track. We will prevail. We are the Little Political Blog That Could, after all. We’ve been through worse.

I’m sure I’ve got lot’s of company in keeping my fingers crossed hoping that this will get resolved quickly. I can’t imagine the strain all this has put you through, so my plea to everyone is to keep hanging in there to support ursula and this site.
I’m all in here for Ursula’s site … I’ve been cruising some hospitals here and there to find exactly what is wrong with me … as of now, I’ve been informed I have what’s called Marginal Lymphoma, which, as long as my CT scan after Christmas finds none of it in other areas, is really good news, treatable with medications and probably 25 years of survival from now, putting my wife and I into the centurion bracket … SO poor Ursula will continue to have my continued attention here and in my workshop …
I truly enjoy your input to this site along with Bareshark and all the other regular writers, we definitely need to support whatever comes of this site – – Ursula has been such a prolific writer of truth in the political poison raining down in DC by the stars of the GOP … it seems a number of those turds are nearing public exposure and Ursula’s comments are a welcome relief from some of the moronic GOP actions …
Hopefully things will be smoother with the next provider. In the meantime, we’ll be here.

Bluehost is Endurance Group. They have a slew of crappy hosting services — all the same garbage, different name, different price points.
May I suggest you add Endurance Group to your post (fact-check this yourself to verify) as they have a series of shell brands. All are garbage and the support is dishonest at-best, perhaps fraudulent.
I got my money back from the promptly when I filed a complaint with BBB in Massachussets. They run their hosting scam out of Burlington, Massachusetts. Their fake support will promise you any and everything and never deliver.
The service from any of their brands is never stable — it is their business model.

Go with Siteground. I was with Bluehost and left for many of the same reasons. Moved to Siteground and never looked back. EXCELLENT customer service.
If you have more $$$, one of the highest-rated hosting services is Kinsta. I’ve not tried them, as I don’t need all they provide. But they are also very solid.
