It must have been a sad thing to be a buggy whip manufacturer back in the day and age when the automobile got started. The smart buggy whip manufacturers began to diversify, becoming fishing pole repairmen or leather goods merchants. You have to use what skills you’ve got when the times change and the industry you’re in is obsolete. Donald Trump is going the way of the buggy whip and his media industry is looking to branch out elsewhere.

Matt Drudge led the charge. He dropped Trump quite some time back. And Rupert Murdoch was ready to. Oh, was he ready. Remember the New York Post front page on DeFuture, when Ron DeSantis got reelected to the governship of Florida and was going to slide right into the White House, the Trump replacement, the next Republican president? That fantasy sure didn’t last long, now did it? But the Murdochs have apparently made their decision to go post-Trump one way or the other. Here’s their latest move and this is less than 48 hours before Election Day and the demise of Trump from the political scene.

This is something you never would have seen a few years ago on Fox News. And I mean never, under any circumstances. Fox News is done with Trump. And this is not the first sign. This has been coming for a while. Jessica Tarlov was hired as a “left-wing commentator” and her presence on the network, in my opinion, is to introduce a daily dose of reality into the situation as Fox News tries to find its balance, like a political gyroscope, and get itself repositioned.

Fox News isn’t pro-Harris so much as they are finished with Trump and groping around looking for their next GOP hero. They will find somebody and something. Water always finds its own level.

But for now, it’s one more nail in Trump’s coffin. Plus, it will be interesting to watch Fox News on Election Night. Last election, 2020, Fox News made the call that Arizona went for Joe Biden. That sent Trump through the roof, as you recall. Subsequent to that night, there were shakeups and firings at Fox News amongst the decision desk staff.

Do not look for a repeat of that performance. Trump’s losses will not be contested by Fox News, if this is any indication. The Murdochs are looking for fresh game, a new face, a new leader. They haven’t found it yet but they will.

Meanwhile, look for them to drop Trump off at the side of the road, like so much garbage.

  1. fuentes, fux, what next? Liar fuck?

I’d say fux nuz is positioning themselves for a Harris win. It’s weird because you’d think they would just kind of shut up for a bit and take a wait and see attitude about the election. That they are not makes me wonder if they pretty much know trump is going to lose and maybe by a landslide. Hell, even I’m not that sure V.P. Harris will win: not with all the election stealers waiting to do just that for trump. Trying to give dems a false sense of security perhaps?

    • Well, it’s actually in Fox’s best interest for Harris to win. That way, the network gets to spend 4 years attacking every policy, every statement, every little thing that President Harris and her administration does. Four years of Trump does almost nothing for the network–historically, the network gains viewers when there’s a Democrat in the White House and loses viewers when there’s a GOPer in the White House. Fox is a far more effective propaganda machine when they’re not just regurgitating the latest slop from a GOP White House.

  2. Pittsburgh and Western PA has a very large Puerto Rican population and they are well and truly pissed off. I hope everyone there votes for Harris, even if it’s only a vote against Trump.
