Since Nikki Haley resigned a few days ago Donald Trump has been crowing nonstop about how “incredible” his daughter Ivanka would be as ambassador, but alas, he would be “accused” of nepotism if he offered her the job. He seems oblivious to the fact that him appointing his otherwise completely unqualified daughter to the post is the textbook definition of the word. Nevertheless, he persists in this folly with a tweet Friday morning.
So nice, everyone wants Ivanka Trump to be the new United Nations Ambassador. She would be incredible, but I can already hear the chants of Nepotism! We have great people that want the job.
