Although NY Attorney General Letitia James and the prosecutors she assigned to Der Gropinfuhrer’s Trump Organization Fraud case playing out in Manhattan declined to make Ivanka join her dumbass brothers as defendants, either because she did not hold comparable formal executive positions as they or because the trial would necessarily be held on school days, former SDNY Criminal Division Deputy Chief Kristy Greenberg tells MSNBC’s Alex Witt that Ivanka is not out of the woods yet and her testimony tomorrow might still result in Federal charges being leveled against her:
“Greenberg said Ivanka’s testimony is going to be “interesting.”
She is certainly going to be asked about these loans. She was the principal contact with Deutsche Bank, the largest lender to the Trump Organization, and really, she was involved in communicating what Donald Trump’s net worth was,” she said. “And Deutsche Bank has certain numbers that Donald Trump needed to continue to maintain as his net worth, in order to keep those loans. Expect testimony to be relevant as to that. With respect to Donald Trump, I anticipate his testimony is going to be deny, deny, deny.
Greenberg said Ivanka’s testimony is going to be “interesting.”

It appears that though Trump gave Beavis and Butt-head lofty executive titles in the Trump Organization and thus put them squarely in the sights of Letitia James’ current legal actions against it – when he was negotiating the questionable loans with Deutsche Bank that financed his real estate scam he used the more attractive and arguably the smartest of his children as his representative.
Will James’s prosecutors seek to elicit admissions from Ivanka on the stand tomorrow that might result in a subsequent prosecution of her possible?
I certainly hope so.

We need a short trip on the time machine to go back to the allegations of money laundering that surrounded the trumps back around 2019. Ivanka was front and center in negotiations for a $175 million loan to renovate the Old Post Office in Washington, D.C. A wet blanket was thrown over the fire at Deutsche Bank. Maybe her testimony will lift it.

Let’s not forget that the Trump Organization accountants dumped them when this investigation started stating that they couldn’t accept documentation supplied to them by Trump et al.
And, more importantly, the verdict is already decided on the evidence extant. This trial is about deciding the size of damages awarded against Trump, his guilt is beyond doubt. Of course if enough evidence is unearthed that criminal charges apply, that will happen next.
That, now, also appears beyond doubt.
