I would be curious to know what the average MAGA voter “thinks,” if indeed they think at all about anything in government and how it affects their lives. Sunsetting or privatizing Social Security is a horrible idea. Always has been.
And now Matt Gaetz would have you believe that the Republican-led House has a terrific handle on not only Social Security but balancing the budget.
I’m going to go along with what Kevin McCarthy said a few weeks ago, that he has no idea what Jody Arrington is talking about and there is no plan. There never is with these people.

Lowering won’t happen but cap discussion is good.
On the other hand, there is good argument for lowering the retirement age.
These are the data points people discuss when this topic arises. Matt Gaetz, on the other hand, is just performing on TV because that’s what he does. Don’t expect any actual commentary to come out of what he says and absolutely brace for whatever theatrics the House decides to put on.
The only question there, is does McCarthy know how volatile this issue is and how it could blow up in his face in 2024?

Gaetz and Marge Greene are in such deep red districts that no matter how crazy they talk they can still get elected. Most of the House doesn’t have that luxury. That may be a lesson learned in 2024.

All I know is that in CHINA, if you are a female, you retire at 50. Males, 55. Plus you can piss and shit anywhere you want, it’s a bodily function and perfectly legal.
However here in America, we are represented by high hair assholes who have never had a real job and probably started cheating on tests in the 4th grade, who know what’s best for us.

The age was raised from 65 to 67 already. The only people who can easily keep their jobs into their 80’s and 90’s, even when they’re ineffective, are in Congress and the WH. Try being interviewed for a job at age 70 by someone who is 30 years old and has one eighth the experience and knowledge. Most of us get pushed out of the workforce and higher paying jobs when we’re in our 60’s.
In addition to that, they use the last 10 years of earnings before retirement to determine your benefit. In many cases, like mine, if you are forced to work for less than you once did or to work fewer hours, those were the lowest earning years so the benefit is significantly lower than if they’d used my lifetime or peak earnings.
Most Republicans aren’t very bright except when it comes to fucking those with less than them. Then they become truly evil.
I believe pizza gaetz needs to be put out of his misery. Let’s see which happens first, raising the SS age or pervy boy getting his ass shot by some pissed off father after he sticks his dick in the the wrong, young bajingo. I’m betting on the second one.
