It’s a wild Monday morning, folks. I’m thinking of just going back to bed and pulling a pillow over my head and disconnecting the computer. We’re having record breaking heat here in Las Vegas. The thermometer hit 120 degrees at Harry Reid International yesterday afternoon and that, combined with the record breaking stupidity amongst Democrats, has just about done me in. If you’ve been following social media at all, you will know that a number of Democrats, both elected officials and celebrities, have decided to knife Joe Biden. Here’s the latest glimpse of that.

I share this example with you because it’s perfect concise stupidity. First of all, King has not said he’s voting for Trump. That’s a wild stretch. But going to what Stephen King is saying, that’s not clear either. Joe Biden is supposed to do what, now? Announce he’s not running and then what? Kamala is? And that’s some magical anodyne and we will all breathe a huge sigh of relief, join hands, sing kumbaya, and a beautiful full moon will rise in the background of a perfect world?
Stephen King is a writer. He knows human nature or he couldn’t plausibly write stories about believable people. Does he seriously think it is that simple? He can’t. He simply cannot be that naive.
So I confess at this point to not knowing what exactly it is that this faction of Democrats who has decided to turn on our president, our standard bearer, want the man to do. Or what they expect that the party should do, or what they think the reaction of the nation is going to be. These are ALL questions that need to be answered BEFORE somebody with a large voice like Stephen King or Rob Reiner starts using that voice to suggest a massive political change like this.
Is this a vote for Kamala Harris to take charge? She’s already on the ballot. We’re already voting for her. That’s a non issue.
Rob Reiner has not come forward to elaborate on his comment from Sunday about Biden stepping down and Stephen King made his comment this morning. So maybe that’s it. Maybe they both blast some wishful thinking onto Twitter and leave and something magical is supposed to transpire. I have no freaking clue.
What I do know is that we need to unite and stop this agitation because it’s doing nothing but harm.
I sincerely hope that this blows over and that we get back to the business of winning the election. This is nothing but corrosive. On the good side of things, my understanding is that Mark Cuban and Robert DeNiro are hanging in there for Biden. We need to celebrate whatever good news we can get, right?

Inherited wealth doesn’t discriminate against the morons of the world-space karen’s dad made his fortune in emerald mines. The US at one time had tax laws that kept generational/passed down wealth within some bounds (of course space karen is a south african so his inheritance wouldn’t have been touched anyway). I don’t think that Biden withdrawing and releasing his delegates will invoke the chaos you believe it will. After his debate performance, I fear we may be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and handing our democracy to a fascist.

Is Biden physically slowing down? Most definitely but I’ve seen more physical deterioration in trump–the kind that goes not only with his increased age but also that which comes from cognitive decline. I wish both of the candidates would take a MoCA test given by impartial testers and analyzed by impartial experts-I think we both know who has the mental capacity of a “potted plant” and we both know that person isn’t Biden. Here is a reality check for you: the kind of switch you want made guarantees a trump victory because it will put the democratic party in disarray. A really big disarray. I DO think Kamala Harris would be a President the likes we have not seen since President Obama who was phenomenal.
