We have crossed yet another Rubicon in this election. I mentioned in a piece last night about who’s running the mainstream media that Rob Reiner had managed to go batshit on us and he is demanding that Joe Biden “stop fucking around” and step down. Seriously. This is still a main story on Twitter this morning. He’s not the only one. Jennifer Rubin is saying the same thing. I’m not all that surprised. Never Trumpers always have the knife ready to stick it in a Democrat, although I certainly enjoy many of them who have joined ranks with us in this Era of Trump. What’s truly horrifying is that apparently Jen Psaki has turned on her old boss. Ouch. Et tu Brute? This is as good an explanation as I’ve heard.
Rob Reiner and Abigail Disney need to take all the seats.

A house divided against itself cannot stand. Stephen King also asked for Joe Biden to step down. I don’t know what dream world they’re both living in that tells them that a sudden departure of Biden is going to somehow unite the country around Kamala Harris. All that is going to happen is chaos and the ensuing chaos will hand the election to Trump.
This is an unmitigated disaster. I don’t know how long this is going to go on. I hope and pray that it blows over soon.

Yes, There may be agreement that keeping Biden carries a risk but a united party will see the sane, commited public servant defeat the criminal conman. Thereafter, he may coninue to deliver as now or, for whatever reason, Kamala may takes over. Let’s call it controlled chaos.
The alternative? Less controlled chaos and heightened risk with Kamala at the head of the ticket. Difficult in its own right and likely to be made more difficult with the probability of increased party disunity opening the door the utter chaos of Trump and the very disciplined Brownshirts of the Heritage Foundation implementing Project 2025 from Day 1
