Temper, temper. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Eric Trump threw a total hissy fit over a piece that Jen Psaki did on MS NOW and he’s threatening to sue both the anchor and the network. This is what made Eric flip his lid.
“You see, Eric is on the board of a company called ALT5 Sigma,” Psaki said, showing a clip of him and his brother ringing the New York Stock Exchange opening bell with the company name shown around them. That was one of the claims Trump denied.
“While Eric is in China with his dad, the Financial Times is reporting that this company has a memorandum of understanding to explore a potential deal with a Chinese computer chip manufacturer to build AI data centers, and a whole bunch of other AI related stuff,” Psaki said. “Oh, and guess what else? That Chinese firm they have that memorandum of understanding with? Well, Congress has warned that that company is connected to the Chinese Communist Party.”
“Now, neither the Chinese chip manufacturer or ALT5 responded to the Financial Times’ request for comment, but it certainly seems like Eric might be getting a little more than just quality time with his dad out of this China trip, doesn’t it?” Psaki wondered.
“I mean, I could go on and on and on about all of the sketchy ways that Trump’s sons are making money while their dad is president,” the MS NOW anchor went on. “Just last month, Eric was on Fox Business, bragging out loud about how one of his companies scored a $24 million contract with the Pentagon. Last year, a company partially owned by Trump’s other adult son, Don Jr, landed a nearly $5 million contract with the U.S. Air Force, and both of Trump’s sons are now part owners in a new drone company that is hoping to win major Pentagon contracts.”
Psaki concluded: “I should say that all of those companies deny there is any conflict of interest, as do Don and Eric. But wouldn’t it be great if someone—say, the IRS—were to check, given how clear the potential conflicts of interest are? You would think that Trump and his sons would deserve more financial scrutiny, not less. But nope.”
Eric steadfastly denies having any relationship with the company, whatsoever, and states that he was in China for the sole purpose of supporting his father, whom he “adores.”

Looks like there’s some solid disagreement there. It will be interesting to see if Eric Trump does sue. The Trumps file a lot of lawsuits and then the suits end up being quietly dismissed for lack of substance. Let’s see what happens with this one. Eric was certainly righteously indignant.

I noticed that Eric failed to mention any intention of suing “The Financial Times.” I mean, Jen noted that HER story is based on a report from “The Financial Times” (a UK-based news organization) so any lawsuit he might file will get laughed out of court without suing the ORIGINAL source of the “defamation.”
Good point, Joseph. But this is a case of the Trumps going after MS NOW, long a bastion of factual reporting and, as a result of honest, ethical journalism, long a source of depressingly revealing news about the corruption and incompetence of the Trump regime. Let’s hope that Comcast, the parent company of MS NOW/NBC, will continue to uphold the high standards of its journaliism and step up in support of its journalists, unlike other mainstream media such as ABC and CBS.
“Long a bastion of factual reporting” – ok, lemme stop you right there, Jarvis. For the most part that is a very defensible statement. But, like ALL other mainstream media on this particular planet, that statement falls completely apart into utter and total disarray and shocking BS when referring to Israel and almost anyone and anything Jewish. Then? MS-Now just joins everyone else in their mindless and totally unverified blithering of all and every new ludicrous story of how evil those damned Jews are to the poor long-suffering Palestinians who’ve been on that land for MILLIONS and MILLIONS of years while Jews just showed up in 1948 from their historic homeland in Europe to kick said “poor long-suffering” Palestinians from their homeland of thousands of millenia. Please!!!! Same shit different medium. So to be clear, “NORMALLY fact-based network MS-Now, unless it concerns Jews wherein they become as full of total shit as everyone else.” Happy to help, Jarvis.
WHERE in the world did THAT come from???
Wow!
