Did what? Are you serious? Where? He didn’t! He did? Oh mercy. What IS it with this guy, foot-in-mouth disease? Maybe he should move overseas? Because he certainly loves this particular group and we’ve heard him talk about it multiple times. Wait, he’s in DOG-e? And …. Oh, good grief.
Our favorite insane space man went overseas to Germany to speak at an opening rally of the AfD’s campaign kickoff. This means he went over for the far-right group he’s always praising, donating to, extolling the virtues, yadda yadda yadda ya. Now what the hell does someone with a great deal of knowledge of the federal government in the US doing at a campaign rally for the far-right German Party? Could you say volatile situation?
If I was Susie I would be kicking his ass to the curb and finding someone else to run DOG-e. Elon doesn’t need any more knowledge of the US government than he’s had already. Yes, he’s loved because he has M O N E Y and isn’t afraid to spend it. Plus he’s kinda buddies with DonOld. But….but. Associating with a far-right German group is not a good look. Germany doesn’t want anything to do with Nazis anymore. You can get in BIG trouble for it. They’ve shoved that back into history and emphatically closed the door. I can see how it would be something the country doesn’t want to remember. Those were some rough times, and embarrassing, in a way, too.
But Elon keeps raving about this group and how, shall we say, amazing they are. He’s throwing around the HEIL salute over here in the US. That’s not a good look either. And please don’t give the Mango Mandarin any more ideas with this. I don’t know which would be worse, dictator or Hitler. Just … just don’t give him any more ideas. We’re already the joke of the world and it’s only been a few days. DAYS. We have months, YEARS to survive.
But back to Germany. There were thousands of protestors against this AfD group. From what I read they were all peaceful, too, which is a good change. Although the AfD has been performing well in opinion polls, they have been criticized for their “staunch” anti-immigrant stance. Therefore, we can guess that polls or not, they’re not exactly well-loved. And here we go – all of Germany’s mainstream political parties have said they will not work with the AfD. That says something right there.
It seems that once again Elon has gotten carried away with something. He’s not exactly stable and seems like he changes course at the drop of a mere penny, let alone a dime. I’m uncomfortable with him supporting a far-right group overseas, with all he has going on at “home”. He’s just in too good a position to have information on how and what OUR government is doing. So Elon, get your head out of your arse, okay? You’re not doing us any good with this and we need all the help we can get. Come play with your DOG-e work and quit messing around in the rest of the world. Some people don’t like you so chill, okay?

Susan, take off the gloves: the AfD isn’t just far-right, it’s neo-Nazi. Call it that. Like the National Rally party in France, the AfD tries to hide its most blatantly Fascist/Nazi policies and philosophies, but don’t be fooled. Scratch the surface and the same tired old shit is revealed.
Note that Musk didn’t dare sling a Hitler salute when he was adressing the AfD in Germany; if he had, he’d be in jail. But you better bet that he’d have loved to, and loved to have received them back from that audience of wannabe storm troopers.

The comment on the lack of a ‘hand to heart’ gesture, as described by FxNws, during *usk’s trip to Germany was exactly right. The Germans learned from their history and in conclusion they criminalized the symbols and notions of NatSoc. We have our own history (thank you Rachael Maddow!) flirting with totalitarianism and we’ve heard warnings all along (thank you Sinclair Lewis!) but now I fear Werner Herzog’s formula in that ‘1/3 of Germans killed 1/3 of Germans while 1/3 of Germans watched’ is an unspoken goal of the oligarchs.
Aren’t Nazi salutes banned in Germany? Please Soon the Eagle, whip a Veil Salute out there! It might get you banned.
