Concerning news stories break like popcorn kernels these days and if you go offline for a few hours, when you come back something new has exploded. Such was the case when Nikki Haley announced this afternoon that she would be voting for Donald Trump and not Joe Biden, i.e., she’s voting for fascism over democracy, she’s voting to live in an autocracy rather than a constitutional democracy. That is not the least bit surprising. She’s a coward. She never did have a spine. Her one *gift* was the ability to make blandness and lack of principle play out as moderation. Today, she showed her true colors.
“As a voter, I put my priorities on a president who’s going to have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies to account, who would secure the border, no more excuses,” Haley, the former president’s ex-rival in the Republican presidential race, said at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank. “A president who would support capitalism and freedom, a president who understands we need less debt not more debt.”
Excuse me, wasn’t it Haley who pointed out Trump sank the nation into eight trillion dollars worth of new debt, or did I hallucinate that?
“Trump has not been perfect on these policies. I’ve made that clear, many, many times. But Biden has been a catastrophe. So, I will be voting for Trump,” she said.
Good for you, you treasonous wimp. Nobody cares what you do in any event. But people are wondering about what *your voters* will do and I predict they will do what we’ve already said they will do here. First of all, as has been stated on this blog and by Lincoln Project and Meidas Touch, and other outlets and pundits, Nikki Haley voters are not voting for Nikki Haley per se. They are anti-Trump voters. It may take her until 2028 to realize that salient fact, but realize it she will in the fullness of time, and you can take that one to the bank.
Now, could you use a bit of comedy? Marjorie Taylor Greene has not welcomed Haley back into the fold. So the Republican Civil War continues.

Wasn’t there a story about a Man Without A Country? Haley is a wimp without a party to go back to. She could have done a Liz Cheney and stood for something, but she preferred to be a coward and stand for nothing. Speaking of Cheney, she chimed in today on the cowardice of Republicans who are cosigning on Trump’s assassination attempt drivel.
Donald Trump is unstable and dangerous. He knows this is a lie that could again provoke violence from those who blindly follow him. Rs in Congress: You know Trump is unfit.
When will you put aside your cowardice and stand up for what you know is right? https://t.co/lTy2hZQiGP— Liz Cheney (@Liz_Cheney) May 22, 2024
I can answer that, Liz: Not until the 12th of Never and that’s a long long time.
It wasn't a smart move on her part that's for sure and she has no shot at VP. His supporters won't go for that and they won't go for her in 2028.

All compelling ideas. Does Haley think she might get the VP slot? I think too many MAGAs hate her, but then again if the Mango Messiah says that he has forgiven her and accepts her back in the fold, it will be hard for them to argue with one of his edicts.
Haley could have made a difference. American history will record her complicity and her cowardice.

All hat and no cattle. Head on back to the cradle of the Confederacy…liar.
Did she endorse trump to get the VP spot? trump’s handlers may have convinced him that the votes she brings could tip the balance in a close election. The problem is, many Haley voters considered her to be the least objectionable alternative to an unacceptable front-runner. Those voters may be faced with a ticket that still has the unacceptable candidate, but now coupled with a gutless VP. A lose-lose proposition.
she’s always has been a sucker, always.
Hate to say this, but Trump was right. She IS a birdbrain!
