The bridge too far for many people was January 6. If the GOP had not been the corrupt cesspool that it is, the GOP-led Senate would have voted out the Insurrectionist in Chief and it would have been a cleansing moment for America. It would have been a perfect time to reset and reunite for the country. Many of us were so hoping that just exactly that would happen. But it did not. The fear-ridden cowards in the GOP decided to keep Donald Trump in office. Now they are paying a higher price than they would have paid if they’d just excised the cancer at that time. But here are people who did make the right decision and they’re not voting for him in November. Or ever.

These are some amazing testimonies. And there will be more and they will be made into videos as the year goes by. Trump is a national security risk. Yet, on the other hand, there are a lot of lunatics who maintain that this is not real. Filmmaker Oliver Stone recently went on record joining the Trump is persecuted crowd. I’ll never spend another dollar on one of his films.
Maverick American director Oliver Stone told AFP that the legal proceedings against Donald Trump are “all political” and that the ex-president was a victim of “lawfare” — when prosecutions are used to silence political figures.
“Almost 100 indictments against the guy… it’s ridiculous,” said Stone.
“This is all political. They want to put him behind bars, but they’re not going to be able to,” he added.
However, the 77-year-old director of “JFK”, “Platoon” and “Snowden” said that he would not vote for Trump in this November’s US presidential election.
“Everyone’s corrupt. Russia runs on corruption, so does Turkey. So does the United States. Corruption is a way of life, but they make it into a political issue now,” Stone insisted.
But he said he would not be voting for incumbent President Joe Biden either.
The man is an idiot, but a lot of Hollywood types live in a bubble and not the real world. We have a binary choice this November, to vote for Trump and fascism or to vote for democracy and our way of life. It is that simple. It’s not about being in love with Uncle Joe, it’s about wanting to see an effective leader continue to lead rather than a non-leader come back in and destroy.
But evidently these simple truths are too difficult for a lot of people to grasp. They have to spin who knows what weirdness into it all. Oliver Stone describes himself as a “freethinker.” I think non thinker would be a better description.
Let’s hope that Stone and people like him are in the minority and that democracy wins at the ballot box this November.
Oliver Stone is a God-Damned fn idiot. A vote for anyone but the only person who has a legitimate chance of keeping Trump out of the White House is a wasted vote for Trump.

I agree with Stone, it is ridiculous. Though it is not political persecution.
It’s the rule of law working as intended, without fear or favor.
A lot of this is due to Republican cowardice, but we can’t discount the cowardice of Merrick Garland for not starting the process on January 21, 2021.
