Do We Remember This Worn Out Pledge?

Remember, on the campaign trail, tRump promised to bring prices down on Day 1? He has failed miserably.

For one thing, he’s been doing anything and everything *except* work on prices. He’s signed a gazillion Executive Orders for this, that, and the other. Americans are being played. He said that he would end inflation on Day 1, too. Inflation jumped 3% for his first month. Three. Percent. He’s trying to blame it on Biden, of course, and it isn’t working. It’s all on him.

So exactly when is he going to get this done? I’m betting on never. Remember, after his inauguration, he said “It’s going to be very hard to get them down.” So then why in the hell did he make that promise? I’m sure he was trying to pull more voters in, and he did, but he was damn sure not even going to TRY to bring them down. So the lower and middle classes get sucker-punched, because the prices are going up and up and up. Three percent. That’s *fast*, to increase that high in a month. Not a good look for the Cheesy Poof Traitor Tot. And we get to wait and see what it is for February. If it keeps going up I’m going to get even more worried than I already am. We’re barely scraping by as it is. And I’m sure it’s hitting others just as hard. No one can save because they can’t afford it with us getting mule-kicked by inflation.

And may I remind you of the promise that the tariffs will be paid by the vendors? Oh, no, they’re passed along to the American consumer. But I’ve already ranted about tariffs. So instead of price changes, he’s doing things like banning DEI, renaming the Gulf, lusting over Greenland, chasing the Panama Canal and the best one is building hotels on the Gaza Strip to turn it into a “Riviera”. Never mind about that ethnic cleansing. What you don’t see you don’t know, right? Right?!

So, the rich can afford inflation. They could probably spend in a day what would last an American family a month, with the way inflation is going for us. But they don’t need to worry about such things. Meanwhile, the lower and middle classes are suffering. Remember, he was going to bring prices down. He was going to end the inflation nightmare. He hasn’t and he won’t. And it’s about time anyone who believed it sees the error of their ways. Lies, lies, lies.
