Well, well, well. Seems someone has backed off from their threat to another country about tariffs and nonsense. Flip, flop, when does he stop? The Child has apparently, somehow, changed his mind. It’s still about all the “criminals” who are being “forced” into our country. I wonder if he’ll ever tire of that line. Probably not, although many others are already tired of it. Threats and back off, threats and back off. All that was needed was a simple phone call and all this hoorah wouldn’t have happened.
This whole thing with flying illegal immigrants back to their home countries with no warning and no preparation is just a mess. The Mango Mandarin just said to send them all back, not just Columbians. How does he know they are all criminals? Maybe they’re just people who want a better life. After all this, I’m wondering if people will even try to come here at all. It might be better to try and survive in their home country than to walk hundreds of miles to be turned away and sent back to what they are trying to escape.
Sending people in handcuffs and chains is inhumane. Having no air conditioning is inhumane. It’s as if they just grabbed a group of “criminals” to send back to make The Child look good. Our treatment of the returning migrants is ridiculous. Sending them back in decent shape, at least, might improve our relationship with other countries. Giving them advance warning and working out when and where to bring them back is easily done with a few simple phone calls. It can’t be that hard to pick up a phone and make a call. This would show that we want to work *together* on repatriating the “illegal” people here.
The other problem is that people who are legally here in the country could get swept up in these “raids” and get sent back anyhow. It’s pretty likely they don’t have a way to fight back. So, they have their lives uprooted and families broken up just because of the raids. Plus, the border czar doesn’t care if people are citizens. If a family wants to stay together, they all get sent back because he doesn’t care. Illegal *and* legal? Both get shoved out the door. The Mango Mandarin really just doesn’t care. He’s looking at the numbers of how many people get sent back so The Child can crow about it in his next “speech” or Truth Social post to say “I promised we would make changes in immigration and see what I’ve done so far?” Ugh.
What happened to “Give me your tired, your poor/your huddled masses yearning to breathe free/the wretched refuse of your teeming shore/Send these, the homeless tempest-tost to me/I lift my lamp beside the golden door! / . We were once a land of opportunity. Now we most certainly aren’t. Now we are ruled by a crazy guy who only thinks about what benefits him and never mind the rest of the country. He does what he wants and to hell with anyone who doesn’t like it. They’re already looking at a way to keep him in office for another 4 years after the current term runs out. And thus, families are broken up, or people that have walked hundreds of miles get turned around and sent back. After all, they *have* to have someone in the group who is a “criminal” and if people don’t want to split apart the family, well, then go back with the others, no matter if you are a legal citizen.
What a mess. What a DAMNED mess. Why are illegal immigrants so important? They’re here to work and help their families and be away from the mess of what’s happening in their home countries. They *want* to be here. They *want* to work. They *want* to help their families. They *want* a better life. Guess what – they’re not going to get it. And that’s the worst thing of all.

Susan, I have more good (cough, cough) news for you about the inhumane flights. When Biden sent deportees out of the country, humanely, they were sent on civilian jets. A flight to Colombia cost the taxpayer about $150K. Sphincter Face’s need to militarize the program means that every flight of shackled humans in a big war plane costs the taxpayer $850K!
