Yep, the bully-boys are not having any fun in Chicago. They’re on their own and, shall we say, no one to help them. It makes their jobs more challenging because they’re not wanted and are getting shown that in many ways. No bleeding hearts from us. We’re quite happy to watch them struggle. Department of Homeland Security agents were seen abandoning one attempt to arrest a man in Chicago over the weekend after being outnumbered by protesters. In at least one case, the Chicago Police Department was ordered not to assist federal agents swarmed by demonstrators, according to reports. In videos circulated on Instagram, two masked agents could be seen trying to take a man into custody in the middle of a busy street. Drivers shouted at the federal agents and blew their horns as onlookers gathered. The struggle went on for several minutes before the agents released the man and fled in an unmarked vehicle.
Oh, yes. What were they thinking, to take someone down in the middle of a BUSY street? Holy cow, guys. Are you really that stupid? Well, it would seem so. Blocking traffic is not exactly the best thing to do. And Chicago is pretty ferocious about standing up for itself. People don’t like DHS and ICE‘s nonsense. They are making it plain. But the idiots won’t give up. They have their orders. They have their ridiculous quotas.
We have yet to see a female DHS/ICE agent in the news. Maybe they were told this is no job for a woman (see: Pete Hegseth’s pontifications about the military), or maybe they also think this is ridiculous. This is not a job that one would like. But there are enough stupid guys to want that money and the thrill of beating on someone with impunity. They are finding out the hard way that as every day goes by, they are hated more and more. But that doesn’t seem to matter. Orders. Quotas. Unreachable quotas.
“Multiple law enforcement sources confirm to @FoxNews that Chicago police officers were instructed by their Chief of Patrol to NOT respond to Border Patrol agents call for help yesterday after they were reportedly surrounded by a large crowd of protesters following a ramming incident & shooting of an armed woman,” Melugin reported on X. On Sunday, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem told Fox News that Chicago was a “war zone” where her agents were not welcome to use restrooms.
Sorry not sorry, lady. Apparently, she can’t (won’t?) let herself admit that her people are not wanted, and Chicago is telling them in no uncertain terms. This is happening in other cities, too, but they’re not making the news as much right now. This is. The more we can show them in a bad light (well, not bad, a truthful light), the more fun we can have at their expense. The bully-boys deserve it. Getting swarmed no matter where they are. Pissed off drivers when they block a busy street. No help from other law authorities.
Everything in the news shows how this is a failure in terms of actions. It started in LA. And it’s spreading. It seems we can’t get rid of them because of Stephen Miller and Kristi Gnome. Also, is Trump actually going to send in the National Guard to “help” in cities? They won’t be welcome either, which is a bitch because they *have* to follow orders. They don’t have a choice. Well, mostly they don’t. DHS/ICE does, even if they refuse to see it. They have “orders”, too. Good grief.
Friends, I know everyone asks you for money. I promise you, of all the outlets asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love.
