Trump thinks that Rep. Joe Crowley of Queens lost his bid for reelection because he was not nice enough to the Narcissist-in-Chief.
Crowley lost to 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is more left-leaning than many in the mainstream Democratic party.
Wow! Big Trump Hater Congressman Joe Crowley, who many expected was going to take Nancy Pelosi’s place, just LOST his primary election. In other words, he’s out! That is a big one that nobody saw happening. Perhaps he should have been nicer, and more respectful, to his President!

Needless to say, a CNN panel discussing the vote burst out laughing (link to video here) at Trump’s incredible self-absorption.
“The president’s ability to make everything about himself is just boundless,” said Frank Bruni, a New York Times columnist. “One can have many different opinions about what this election and Crowley’s defeat means, but one thing for sure it doesn’t mean is that it wasn’t he wasn’t nice enough to Donald Trump. She was not campaigning as someone who was going to be kinder to Trump than Representative Crowley. I can guarantee you that as well.”
Ryan Lizza said that the Ocasio-Cortez victory will be a shock for the Democrats as well as their Republican counterparts. Ocasio-Cortez ran far to the left of Obama and other mainstream Democrats.
This is, by far, the stupidest take possible. Crowley lost to Ocasio-Cortez, who was challenging him from the left. Trump is beyond toxic in that district. https://t.co/YuLpcrHrLC

Uh, yeah. I think you may want to read the story a little more closely: Crowley lost to a candidate who belongs to the Democratic Socialists of America. She supports abolishing ICE and Medicare for All. My god but you people are stupid.

He's so stupid he doesn't realize this is worse for him than Crowley.

Yeah. In a Dem primary in the Bronx/Queens, the reason Joe Crowley lost was because he was mean to Trump. Sure. https://t.co/yJFu1zIJZd

Well, um, it really is all about him. Just not the way he thinks it is.
