Lady Karma is a tough old broad and she’s got a wicked sense of humor to boot. Every single day we have heard the dirge from the GOP, “Joe Biden is old. He doesn’t know where he is. Will he even remember dropping out of the race?” All of these wisecracks do not depict a person who is up in years, per se, so much as they depict somebody who is mentally gone — which is a horse of a different color. You can be any age and not be with it mentally. In any event, Biden did what he was called upon to do, which was to drop out of the race and cede the baton to a capable, younger champion. So that leaves one old man in the race. What will he do? The wrong thing, I think we can all agree on that. And of course the Lincoln Project is going to rub it in, bigly.

Once again, we look at the dual standard, and the old cliche, “It’s okay if you’re a Republican.” Trump is only three years younger than Biden. That’s nothing. That means they were in high school at the same time, one as a freshman the other as a senior. That’s a difference of a mere 1,000 days or so of living. But the media has spun it as trim, fit, Joe being ready to kick the bucket at any time whereas the morbidly obese Trump is supposedly “young.”
Trump’s not “young.” And he’s not strong. Nor tough. He’s the same pudgy, weak, dense, dull, candy ass punk that he’s ever been. Except now, in his late seventies, he is losing it mentally. And he has been for some time.
Which brings us back to Lady Karma. Trump may have had a peer in Joe Biden, in the sense of them both being up in years and gaffe prone. But that is no longer the case. Trump is now matched with a much younger opponent and she is sharp as a tack. She can think on her feet and she will devastate him in a debate.
That’s why he’s avoiding a debate like it’s the next wave of COVID. Except he can’t do that forever. His own constituents, his MAGA troops, will demand that he enter into combat with the “fucking bitch” which is what he called Kamala Harris when out playing golf with his youngest son. I’m going to share that clip again, and I’m going to share it often. I hope it continues to go viral because Trump is a swine.

I’m sure he said as much about Hillary Clinton as well, if not worse. The difference is that here, one of his allies “leaked” this footage from the golf course, evidently with the idea of showing how tough and in control Trump is. It doesn’t play that way. It plays out as crude and crass and the antithesis of presidential.
And that’s how it will be played as the weeks and remaining few months go on. Harris is a strong candidate, she’s a classy candidate, and right now she’s leading. This new race that we’re in is literally one week old, today. Only a few polls have come out so far and Harris is rising like the sun in the east. She’s nowhere near hitting an apex yet. It’s still early morning and she’s on the rise.
Trump, however, is headed into an eclipse. Remember when Junior posted this meme?
Eclipse and then sunset. And then eternal night. One good thing about Trump’s passing: I don’t think you’ll find him in Heaven and I personally don’t believe that there is a Hell, although we certainly, as humans, have the capacity to create both here in this life. My personal belief is that in order to qualify for some kind of an afterlife, you need to have character. Trump has none. So when his envelope of blubber gives up, as these envelopes of flesh that we’re all in, eventually do, he’s gone.
The simulacrum of a human being that Trump is will flicker out and be gone. Whereas good people, and I certainly count Joe Biden as one of the best, will continue on in the afterlife. Again, this is all my personal opinion. I could be wrong about all of it.
But back to the earthly task and question at hand, “Will Trump bow out of the race?” No way in Hell. The GOP has made its Faustian bargain, it has tied its Gordian knot. It is shackled and enslaved to DonOld Trump.
Trump will be defeated — again — in November. And I’m sure he’ll say it was all a big cheat and a scam, just like before. So the true task for the GOP is to get centered in reality, if that’s possible, and realize that their fantastical reality TV candidate was able to draw an inside strait in 2016, but none of the elements that propelled him to victory are present in 2024. Those were:
- A non-charismatic opponent who was hated and reviled, due to a 20-year right-wing disinformation campaign against both her and her husband;
- The virtue of being an untried commodity;
- The virtue of the political pendulum being set to swing the other direction after eight years of Obama.
Trump has none of that going for him in 2024. Not one single element. Kamala is pulling a phenomenal amount of support right now, far more than Hillary Clinton ever did. Trump can no longer sell himself as an iconoclast and a change maker. We saw what he did in office and it was the worst administration and he was the worst president in our history.
And after four years of Trump and four years of Biden, it’s even money with respect to the political pendulum. And right now all the momentum is on Kamala Harris’s side. She’s the new sheriff in town.
If the GOP, collectively, had a lick of sense, it would cut Trump loose and pass the torch itself. But it doesn’t and it won’t. So let it lose. Again. It will then be interesting to see what happens in a post-Trump Loss II world. Will the GOP keep him around for 2028? Can they be that insane?

Was just over at VP Harris’ X feed and the hate there is strong. They spew such garbage it makes me sick that they claim to be Americans, to me they are just TRAITORS!
Twitter is a many splendored thing. It contains wisdom and illumination and it’s also a cesspool. That is the way of social media. Social media is a new phenomenon in this world and I daresay it will take a few decades at least to iron out all the wrinkles.
Expect to see the hate, but also look at the positive signs: the donations, volunteers and most importantly, new voter registrations. Those factors will overcome burner accounts and trolls. And remember, if Musk didn’t own the platform, it would be a lot more civilized.
Well, it was Elon who made Twitter safe for hate again. Once he took over, he decided that “free speech” was paramount, no matter how vile or despicable it was.
Well, as long as the “free speech” wasn’t directed against Elon. For some reason, Mr “All About the Free Speech” was quick to silence HIS critics (whether through temporary blocks or outright cancellations of accounts).
There was even a story that was posted on a YouTube channel (can’t remember which one–sorry) about how–for some inexplicable reason–after the Harris campaign launched its Twitter account, people who tried to follow it found themselves getting notices that they were “following too many people” (say what?) and the site, even hours after being created, had almost no followers. The site had plenty of screen captures from people who were having “difficulty” in following the new Twitter account but, by the time the video was uploaded to YouTube, apparently things had been “corrected.” Presumably, enough people complained that Musk and his henchmen had no recourse but to undo whatever they’d done to block the account’s new followers.

That doesn’t stop someone else in the ‘pube/magat party from staging an independent party (or call it something else, I don’t know, conservative maybe) bid. Kennedy flamed out mainly because he was trying to do Democrat or rather siphon off votes from President Biden. A independent or whatever they would call themself would put themself as an alternate choice to von shitzi. No chance of winning true and also no chance of siphoning off the true believer magats but the candidate could get the ex haley voters, never trumpers, and conservative republicans sick at what their party has become. Problem here? Well, yeah there is: right now a lot of those voters are in V.P. Harris’ camp. A republican calling themself a trump alternative could bag those voters. This scenario would make it that much harder for V.P. Harris–her team would really, really, really need to GOTV to go after the demographics she’ going to need anyway.
I don’t think it’s in von shitzinpants to drop out of the race but there could be someone ballsy enough to compete against him and V.P. Harris. Wouldn’t win but would be a spoiler. Getting on the ballot in all fifty states would be a large hurdle and perhaps a complete bar to doing this.
There is, of course, one other path to getting von shitzi off the ticket: if his family were to commit him to an institution or they could file for conservatorship since neurocognitive disorder, when bad enough, is grounds for doing this. Yes, he could fight it and he would have his team fighting it as well so this is pretty unlikely.
He might back out of debates like the cowardly punk he is but dropping out of the race entirely, especially since it IS at the moment keeping him out of courtrooms and prison, isn’t going to happen.
I think we’re stuck with him in the race. But the good news about that is when Kamala beats him fair and square, like Joe did four years ago, it’s going to show the GOP that they’re betting on the wrong horse. Never lose sight of the fact that Trump isn’t doing this alone. He’s being enabled every step by a corrupt and complicit GOP.

While President Biden’s dropping out of the race at such a late date caused a few “issues” regarding how everything could play out, for Trump, there’s pretty much no way that he can pull a similar move. For the Democrats, we hadn’t had the Convention and Biden had not formally accepted the nomination whereas Trump has not only accepted the GOP nomination, but he named a VP (who, as we’ve seen, has already shown himself to be a worse nominee than Trump–I mean, there’s been plenty of chatter, even among GOPers, about replacing Vance). Technically, if Trump were to keel over between now and Election Day, Vance would become the GOP’s presidential candidate but there’s NEVER been a presidential candidate who dropped out AFTER their party convention.
But, of course, Trump’s ego won’t let him drop out. He’s GOT to win the White House if only to stop his legal issues from proceeding any further. (We all know that was the primary reason he kept promoting the “stolen election” narrative and incited the January 6 rioters. Of course, the real irony is that most of his still-unresolved legal issues are directly related to the “stolen election” and the events of January 6 and his illegal possession of government documents after leaving DC. The ONLY issue prior to January 2021 was E Jean Carroll’s defamation matter which had NO connection to his “official” Presidential duties.)

Hey, do you all remember that Trump gets sentenced on I think it’s September 18th? Call me optimistic or whatever but I think he’s going directly to prison on that date for at least a few years. Yeah he may not drop out of the race on his own but how many votes is he gonna get if he’s currently doing time behind bars at the time of the election ?
