The current GOP candidate is running to run the country that he tried to overthrow when he ran it before because he’s running from the law — and from legal judgments and creditors he simply cannot pay. That’s why Donald Trump has had to promise American oligarchs the moon. America has come to quite a stretch in the road where an ad like this should: 1. Even be necessary and 2. Be so obvious to boot. But we are there, unfortunately,
Politics has always been a business of smoke filled rooms and bags of cash. To think otherwise would be naive. But Donald Trump is a hustler and when you put a hustler into any environment, the worst aspects of the environment will begin to dominate. The ad you’re about to see shows the oligarchs of our culture making a down payment on the White House, in essence. Do whatever you can to make this ad go viral, because this is what America needs to see in this last month and ten days before the election.
It’s all about money. Jared Kushner’s investment company is 99% foreign investors. You know all about Melania Trump staying off the campaign trail, other than to make a couple of appearances before the Log Cabin Republicans, for $237,500. That’s a lot of scratch. Lara Trump has the keys to the GOP coffers. Barron Trump took a gold Rolex in exchange for setting up his father with a right-wing podcaster for an interview and photo op. We could go on and on the rest of the day and still not get it all said.
The Trumps are the worse thing to happen to American politics. They’re the anti-Kennedys. The Kennedy clan, in their day, brought some style, charm and grace to the White House. Not only Jack and Jackie but Bobby and Teddy had substance and quality to contribute. They were legitimately a political dynasty. The Trumps, on the other hand, are like rats in a silo, what they do not consume, they foul.
They have befouled our culture and now Donald Trump is going for the big ticket item once again so that democracy will cease in this country and America will become an oligarchy — and with Trump at the helm, a kleptocracy and a kakistocracy as well — a government of thieves and the least qualified.
