Can someone find a slot for him in an eighth grade classroom somewhere? Nowhere fancy, just, you know, “school”?
Eric ran to the Twitter machine to announce the following great news: That 52% of the country disapproved of his father’s handling of the country. The news was so good that Eric punctuated the tweet with 3 U.S. flags!
True, it might be that Eric considered it good news that his father’s ratings didn’t crash through the floor after the debacle in Helsinki and that Trump’s ratings remained at 45% approval, but if that is what constitutes “good news” for the Trumps, well …
The internet noted the idiocy of bragging that most people disapprove of his father.

While I have you here, I have a theory about Trump’s poll numbers. I believe – given the evidence over the last almost two years, that the more political trouble Trump faces, the firmer his base supports him, lest they cede power to “libtards.”
That does not immunize Trump from sinking polls, however. The economy drives polls, and the economy is moving along just fine right now, as it always does just following a big tax cut aimed primarily at the rich. But, he bills for that cut will come due. Faith in the United States has eroded tremendously. The trade wars waged will end up hurting more people than they help (there is a reason most people support “free trade,” when enforced properly). As summer turns to fall and harvest time starts to look a little more dour, when the bonus money is gone, and tariffs against U.S. made goods really kick-in, at that point, I believe the willingness to prop-up Trump when in political trouble will fade as his voters’ economic fortunes start to fade.
It is either that or it is true, that Trump can shoot a man on 5th Avenue – upon being ordered to do so by Putin, then collect $25 Million dollars (in Rubles) for pulling the United States out of NATO, and his voters will support him right on through, yelling “lock her up” the entire time.
He’s just angling for a job as a Fox News reader.
