Color me paranoid after yesterday’s drop of the Washington Post-ABC poll which showed Joe Biden trailing Cantaloupe Caligula by seven points. Now, by all reason and logic, the poll may be inaccurate. Politico reported that the population polled was “voting age adults” as opposed to registered voters and likely voters. So if the pollsters pulled together people over 18 randomly, who knows how the sample population broke down.
That said, this is not a one off situation by any means. Biden’s approval numbers have been alarming, considering the reality that his accomplishments are impressive so far.
Which brings us to this debacle. Title 42 is going to expire and here’s the scene in Brownsville, Texas.

Make no mistake. Trump will be on CNN on Wednesday and CNN will legitimize whatever he has to say, intentionally or unintentionally. This is what he’s going to talk about. And yes but — we all know that migrant labor is necessary to the economy. Ron DeSantis is actually trashing the Florida economy now with his anti-migrant stance. Construction has slowed down. Hotels, that will be full during tourist season, are not going to be able to provide the requisite level of service without migrant labor. Crops will rot in the field, etc., etc. So that message needs to go out, loud and clear, with a bullhorn. Because otherwise, the likes of MTG will get on Twitter and whatever outlet will have her and megaphone that we’re being “invaded.”

Mayorkas has been in charge of this for two years. How often have you seen him doing interviews explaining and defending the Admin border policy? What is the border policy? I have seen him in front of Congress getting attacked. That’s about it. How has the Press Sect defended it?

It is May, 2023. Now’s the time to get in front of this narrative and control it. If that doesn’t happen, we as Democrats may have to start writing letters to our congress members and get this addressed. There is no time to waste on this, not when Biden is under siege to the extent he is.
We can’t go along in some dream world that Trump is unelectable. We did that once. We live in a volatile society where guns are out of control, people are less educated and less informed than ever, and we have a significant portion of the population, the 30% that are MAGAs, out to destroy our government as we know it.
Democracy is on the ballot. That much has not changed.
So if the line of people crossing the border illegally is known, where are the border patrol personnel? We these people apprehended, processed, turned away, allowed in? They can’t just give a part of the story. What’s the rest of it? If they were processed then the Dems have to say so, same if they were turned away. If they were just allowed in, shame on everyone involved for not doing their jobs. I know it’s not that simple. But, come on, this can’t be the whole story.
