It’s no secret that Donald Trump was very cozy with Russia back in 2016. That fact made itself manifest early on and foreign influence in our elections has remained the smoking gun ever since. Unfortunately, like all things Trumpian, it’s only gotten worse. Dr. Jack Brown is an expert in body language and he has a lengthy thread on Twitter, which is well worth your perusal. Spoiler alert: yes, your worst suspicions about Trump and foreign money are about to be confirmed.
2 of 28/ Yesterday, a New York appeals court ruled that Trump has ten days to pay a reduced bond of $175 million (down from $454 million) in his civil fraud case – and he has 10 days to pay it.

6 of 28/ Lack of eye contact during a question regarding questions of possible malfeasance or any alleged wrongdoing is highly suspicious for deception.

8 of 28/ Of particular note is Trump's pause in this sentence "No, I don't, I don't [pause] do that…". In the midst of a denial, it's screaming deception.

Shrug type 2: Shoulder shrug with hands forward and palms up

14 of 28/ During the 7 second mark, Trump also elevates up on his toes. Although we can't see the lower two thirds of his body, this is easy to see – as his head and shoulders elevate uniformly. pic.twitter.com/JKIqznXR9c

16 of 28/ Trump then says, "…I think you'd be allowed to possibly, I don't know." Here he's trying to give himself plausible deniability and wiggle room.

18 of 28/ Thus, what may be legally true ("allowed to") makes it seem to many of those listening, that it gives him license to lie about accepting money from foreign governments. Trump is misdirecting the audience by saying he's "allowed to" in the next sentence.

20 of 28/ Trump raises his eyebrows and forehead as he again shrugs while looking down to *his* right (0:08 – 0:09). This is the quadrant toward which people gaze most during deception and culpability-guilt. pic.twitter.com/rU4oyCiEw3
— DrJackBrown 🌊 (@DrGJackBrown) March 26, 2024
22 of 28/ Note as he says "borrow" ("…if you go borrow from a big bank…"), (0:11), only *his* left eyebrow raises. This strongly suggests his doubt about his ability to borrow money from a "big bank". Subtle, please watch the video. pic.twitter.com/FujAe9h6A3

Wow. Not only is the doctor right, but I think that Trump may very well see all of his illegal entanglements as *borrowing.* It’s all just a temporary thing, you see, until he gets his billions from Truth Social or Mar-a-Lago does in fact sell for $1.5B or whatever the pipedream du jour is.

• Deception

26 of 28/ SUMMARY: When Donald Trump denied accepting money from foreign governments – his verbal language, paralanguage, and his body language all indicated he lied. This is a profound threat to national security.

Yes, his last point here. *Borrowing* and accepting illegal donations are now the same act. We can only hope to defeat this monster at the ballot box in order to save ourselves. Trump poses a worse threat to this nation than any other presidential candidate put together. He makes Richard Nixon look like the Pope.
Surely ‘Trump lies’ is an oxymoron?
No. An oxymoron is the use of two words or ideas that are contradictory (such as “only choice”–as a “choice” requires at least two options).
The phrase “Trump lies” would be a form of a redundancy (such as “close proximity”) or simply a self-evident state of being (such as “sour lemon”).
So you are saying that the phrase “Trump lies” is a tautology. Yes?
You are correct. I had a momentary spot of cerebral flatulence when considering the ‘moron’ part of the word
I really dislike this son of a Bitch, because stating you hate them is them winning…
Trump now has $4 BLN reasons more he can pay the full bond. James better hurry, before Humper45 devalues that stock.
Mouth moving=lie. 100%.
Another giveaway is where he says “I don’t know” — as if the thought never occurred to him in his life (when we already know that it’s been a way of life for him for years ever since early all western banks (with the exception of Deutsche Bank) stopped giving him loans — and he says it in an exceptionally emphatic way, as if to make sure you believe him.
Or, simply, his lips are moving.
Trump lies non-stop. It is easy to tell when he is lying,,and when he tells the truth, it is usually accidental.
