What a long and delirious weekend it has been. It started out Thursday night when the debate went south and the MSM decided to cobble together a conspiracy theory (two actually) that 1. Joe Biden was toast and some new ticket would immediately replace Biden-Harris and that 2. The “winner” of the debate was the guy who told 602 lies in just under 40 minutes. This is a piece you need to read, right here, because unless you are talking about Donald Trump, it’s nigh impossible to tell a lie every 3.9 seconds. But Trump did it. Yes sir, he did indeed. This is the Bizarro World that we live in nowadays, where a convicted felon is considered a better candidate to lead the free world and do the world’s hardest job than a guy who has been doing it competently for the past three and a half years, but happened to have an off night. But this is MSM-logic, a tortured subspecies of reasoning, in which all manner of utterly preposterous ideas are sold so long as clicks and engagement result.
Not everybody fell for this monumental hoax on Thursday, however. Check out this piece in NJ.com, which illustrates that not only were some people thinking straight and seeing Trump as the loser of the debate, but that they were not buying into the New York Times’ version of unnecessary hysteria.
“Dear New York Times Editorial Board: Did I miss your 2024 piece requesting Donald Trump drop out of the Presidential race after multiple convictions and multiple women saying he assaulted them or after January 6 or after dozens and dozens of other horrors?” tweeted author Don Winslow.
“Joe Biden has one subpar debate, and the New York Times calls for him to drop out. Donald Trump got convicted of 34 felonies, and the New York Times said nothing,” tweeted attorney Tristan Snell.
“Did the New York Times call on Trump to leave the race after he was convicted of 34 felonies? I don’t remember seeing that,” tweeted former Chicago Tribune editor Mark Jacobs.
The billionaire owned media is going to continue pretending to be MSM, but articles like this show their pretence is slipping. They will continue to hinder Democrats whenever they can.
The attacks on the President have fired up the base. We will win.Things are going to get very bad for Trump and the party of insurrection.
Billionaire-owned-media aka MSM think/say/spew/think that the dems are probably burning down the NYT and et al. Oh no… the radicals!!! Heavens to Betsy!!!! Egads!! So much for the MYTH that big city folks are more worldly, sophisticated, and smarter than us poor country folk. THIS rag is your most famous paper? Ship of goddamn fools. Elite? My granmas, living on hardscrabble small farms, were WAY smarter and more able to glean wisdom from daily life. They were smart enough to stay out of NYC. I guess all that pollution rots the brain of those ivy league writers.
It probably is impossible to tell separate lies every 3.9 second for an hour and a half. But these lies were not separate. they were doubled snd tripled up – multiple lies embedded in single sentences – And he didn’t have to make them up as he went, eithe. Some have been around so long that no effort was required, and those which wew a little newer were well rehearsed for the occasion.
