A lot of book makers were betting that Trump would go ahead and attack Iran and get us into a war in the Middle East. It appears that they may have called the shot right. At 10:35 a.m. PT, the Washington Post issued a Breaking News Bulletin, reporting that B-2 Spirit Stealth bombers were flying west over the Pacific Ocean (presumably from Missouri) and then began connecting the obvious dots.
Multiple B-2 Spirit stealth bombers were making their way west over the Pacific Ocean on Saturday, according to a U.S. official familiar with the issue — a likely show of force as President Donald Trump deliberates potential strikes on a key nuclear facility in Iran. The B-2 is the only U.S. aircraft able to carry the 30,000-pound bunker-busting bombs thought to be capable of penetrating Iran’s underground Fordow nuclear enrichment facility. Trump said Thursday that he would decide whether to strike within two weeks. Earlier Saturday, Israel said it launched airstrikes against Iran, including against the Isfahan nuclear site, as Iran sent missiles and drones toward Israel.
This is a developing story and we’ll (and every major outlet in the world) keep you apprised. Here’s the latest developments in the past nine days on this story, also from the Post.
- Israel struck Iran’s nuclear site in Isfahan, targeting two centrifuge production sites — the second attack on the facility, according to an Israeli military official who briefed reporters about operations under the condition of anonymity. Iranian state media, citing a local official, said the attack caused damage to the site but there was no contamination and no reports of casualties. Israel’s military also said it killed three senior commanders in targeted attacks in Iran, the official said.
- Israel’s military said Saturday that it was targeting military infrastructure in southwestern Iran, without providing further details. Iran’s semiofficial Fars news agency reported that explosions had been heard in Ahvaz and the port of Mahshahr, both in the southwest of the country, while the state broadcaster said air defenses had been activated in both locations.
- Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it launched a “large number” of drones and missiles toward central Israel, according to a statement shared by Iran’s state broadcaster early Saturday. Israel’s ambulance service, Magen David Adom, said residents were evacuated from a building in central Israel after a fire was reported on a roof after sirens sounded across the country.
Trump either has the bombers in the sky to swing his balls and look tough or he actually has plans to drop a bunker buster on Frodow and possibly one other location. I guess we’re going to find out.

Hey Rocky…nothing up my sleeve…Bullwinkle
Remember this is a gutless man who wants the Nobel Peace prize…my money is on bluffing. If he goes ahead for some idiotic reason…it will be whacking a hornets nest with a stick. Republican presidents unnecessarily kill our troops over and over.
Well, I can *hope* he doesn’t do something stupid…but this *is* Trump we’re talking about, and he does very well with the stupid. Please let him not drop the bombs. We’re hemorrhaging money to Israel as it is.
