This is another one of those stories which, to quote Dan Rather, is “moving faster than a hummingbird’s wings.”
What is ironic here is that Donald Trump, Sr. was always the first to say what a dummy his eldest son was. And now the truth of that matter is being proven. The bombshell du jour in Trump world is that the January 6 Committee is now in possession of a text which Junior sent to Mark Meadows declaring, in a nutshell, that the GOP was controlling the horizontal and controlling the vertical and that there were many paths to keeping Trump in office for a second term.
The actual credit for the fake electors idea has already been given to Rudy Giuliani, but it is entirely possible that he and Junior, the two great political strategists, arrived at the idea together.
Remember the first line of “1984?” “It was a cold day in April and the clocks were striking 13.” Today is that day. It’s going to be a cold day in Hell, Junior, before the dust dies down over this. Whooeee, did you step in it, and big time.

As always, it seems like one more rock on the pile, nay, let’s characterize this one as a boulder, on the pile of criminality that just sits there and nothing gets done.

The Trump Conspiracy had already begun BEFORE all the votes in the 2020 election had been counted.
They had criminal conspiratorial intent BEFORE they came up with the bogus "voter fraud" excuse. The texts between Donald Trump Jr. and Mark Meadows demonstrate that clearly.

This last tweet is interesting because Trump Senior once stated, with respect to a hypothetical of his kids going to jail, that Junior “would handle it better” than Ivanka. So maybe we can take that as Trump Senior having made up his mind.
Oh, Junior, I hope your dealer has a really sweet cut of coke to give you this weekend. You are going to be in sore need of it. Ask Kimberly to explain to you the doo doo that you’re in.
And to add a comical counterpoint to all this, don’t forget that Ivanka is out there in the hinterlands of Twitter tweeting daily now about how she’s in charge of the Ukraine war effort and getting them supplies. And Melania’s probably going through her closet looking for another hat to sell as an NFT.
What a nest of maggots.
Isn’t this incredible? I marvel at this. Giuliani and Junior and all the other mental midgets really had the hubris to try to steal the election — and what’s more sinister still, were the sitting members of Congress that they got to go along with them. That’s what chills my blood.
