Well, that’s another disaster waiting to happen. Alina screwed up all over the place, but she’s one of the people being considered to replace Blondi? Lawd have mercy. She lost Trump’s case. She was unconstitutionally appointed as an AG. Will Trump be going 3 for 3? If we thought Blondi was bad, ugh, this could be worse. Alina does not have anything near the level of experience needed to be the AG for the US. And she’s not the only one listed. Others could be just as bad. With appreciation for Raw Story:
Speaking just as Fox News was reporting that Attorney General Pam Bondi was relieved of her duties by Donald Trump, MS NOW’s Laura Barrón-López listed off possible long-term candidates for the job, which included former Trump lawyer Alina Habba. Speaking with host Chris Jansing, the White House correspondent reported, “I know that Fox News is reporting that this decision has come down, but our sources have told us that it was going to be, you know, potentially as early as today, but that she is out.“
When I first woke up, Blondi’s firing was reported as a possibility. Now it’s been confirmed. Couldn’t have happened to a *cough* nicer bimbo. You have to wonder if Trump is starting to regret some of his choices for his ‘cabinet’—First Krispi, and now Blondi. Plus, there’s another story floating around about Tulsi, too.
“A lot of that frustration from the president has been building for some time now, for months, and it has more to do with her prosecutions or her inability to get cases fully through that have to do with prosecuting the president’s enemies,” she elaborated. “Now, of course, there was also the handling of the [Jeffrey] Epstein files that have frustrated a number of the president’s allies. But again, this is something that sources have told us who are familiar with the conversations is happening imminently.”
And so, it has. She did not realize the potential possibilities when she took the job. She was to prosecute enemies and hide the Epstein files. Well, she screwed up on Epstein early on. The list was on her desk, but we weren’t supposed to know. Congress actually forced the issue. (That was a great surprise, let me tell ya, although I wanted to smack the guy who said no.) And then she screwed up getting the files out. The prosecution cases? Trump should have picked better people for his state AGs. They were wretched.
“Now, when it comes to who could replace her, there are a number of people that are on that potential shortlist, and we’re not sure exactly who the president’s final choice is, but that could include Lee Zeldin, the EPA Administrator. It could also include Jeanine Pirro, the current U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.” “We also heard that Alina Habba was potentially in the mix –– she was the former U.S. attorney for New Jersey, who was disqualified by a judge. There was also some talk around Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) –– that was what sources told Jake Traylor.”
They’re all potential crap, which is what they are. He needs someone with legal experience and knowledge. None of the names listed has anything like what is needed. Whoever he chooses will get approved by the Senate (why have they lost their minds?) anyhow. Who it is will tell us what we get to look out for. It’s going to be another idiot trying to handle the remaining Epstein files and continue Trump’s Revenge Tour™. Yay?
I will be catching up with comment replies today. See you soon!
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
