Here you go. It will be short for me because there’s only so much to cover. He’s up all night, so that’s why he sleeps half the day, including his cabinet meetings. Does he snore? But silly digression aside, this is not a good habit for him to have. He’s not getting a decent amount of sleep, so he’s making posts that are getting crazier and crazier, so more and more worrisome. President Donald Trump doubled down Sunday on his long-running threats to destroy Iran’s civilian infrastructure, warning Tehran that he was ready and willing to authorize such an attack at a moment’s notice. Trump’s latest round of threats was issued shortly after Iran shut down travel through the Strait of Hormuz, forcing two tankers to turn around early Sunday morning in opposition to the U.S. naval blockade authorized by Trump last week.
There’s enough ranting being done by me about the Strait, so it’s still making me angry, and we’ll leave it at that. Every time he threatens Iran, it just makes him look weak because Iran has us over a barrel (pun intended). They can open and close the Strait any time they want to. Right now, it does no good because of the US blockade, and there’s been enough ranting about that, too. Nothing new to see here, so we’ll move along.
“We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years. IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!”
Blah, blah, blah. Reduce, reuse, and recycle. Nothing new about that either. That’s exactly what Iran will think, too. Trump is not creative. Time and time again, he says the same, tired old things we’ve already heard. He needs a new speech writer, except he never reads what he’s given. That’s pointless. When will they figure out a way to hide his phone at night? Anyone?

That’s not in any way a digression, it’s a very valid question.
I think it likely that someone of the age and body shape of President Trump suffers from sleep apnoea. (Like myself, unfortunately.)
If that is the case, I have 2 follow-up questions.
1. Should President Trump use a CPAP machine or equivalent at night? (Almost certainly “yes”.)

Hehe it was a digression in that it belongs in a column all its own.
My husband also has that trouble. It’s gotten better since he lost weight. We would certainly expect Trump to have it – age, weight, diet, no exercising – and ignore it instead of listening to his doctors. I would guess that he *needs* a CPAP (those things are great – I had one for awhile, but I was right on the “edge” of needing one and eventually they took me off it because there was no real need to continue) and won’t use one. His snoring must be phenomenal and not in a good way. His sleep is so irregular at this point it should really be a major concern. It’s a pity we have no way to find out. It would be interesting.
