Two caveats:

One: In no way am I reporting that Don Jr. has a drug problem. I have no official sources, never mind two corroborating sources (unaware of the other) that could provide a factual basis for making such a claim. I am saying that something looks to be killing Don Jr., whether chemical, neurological or whatever it might be.

Two: Addiction has touched my family, and I’m willing to bet that it’s touched the families of nearly everyone reading this. As much as we all are tired of Junior, as much as we all wish he would shut his mouth and buy a log cabin home in Wyoming and “get out of the game,” no healthy person should want to see addiction claim another life… IF that is what is happening to Junior, and we do not know.

As has been reported elsewhere here, the Republicans had their post-prom “Young Republicans Manhattan Gala” on Saturday night. Yes, it is the one that Marjorie Taylor-Greene noted that “butt plugs” are now sold at CVS (almost as if she was intrigued by learning this lamentable fact…ahhhh, shoot), and she also noted that had she and Bannon been in charge on January 6th, they would’ve been armed and would’ve won. So, Marj is now apparently admitting to the fact that it was a coup, with a winner and a loser, and Marj and Steve would’ve shot their way in and out and come out with the result they wanted.

It would be great to discuss what Don Jr. talked about, but it’s entirely possible that Don Jr. doesn’t remember anything he said or whether he had a message as coherently insane as Marjorie’s.

That is a 53-year-old man who looks 73, and that’s unfair to 73-year-olds. Having provided our caveats, something is eating away at Junior, who looks like he was too out of it to put an unwrinkled suit on.

It wasn’t long ago that Junior looked like this (Forget the mindless comment, just look at the video):

I refuse to make a medical diagnosis – none of us can. But he is deteriorating, and we all know a very likely cause. He needs help, or we’ll hear an announcement in the next year or two, and it’ll hurt, having seen it coming.

  1. He hasn’t been well for decades. His dad did a number on him from the beginning, and though for a while having just his mom probably helped in the end he chose to “get over” his anger at dad for raping mom and take a no-work position with daddy for big bucks. I can only imagine the heartbreak that cause for his mom. But you’re right. He looks not just psychologically but physically ill. None of us would be surprised to learn he’s been doing lines of cocaine on a regular basis and in increasing amounts. And mixing in other stuff. Or maybe a regular ole illness has set in. Either way, I have no fucks to give when it comes to the well-being of this piece of human garbage. Not that I actively wish ill-will and suffering on him but if he is suffering (and worse) I don’t care and won’t lose a moment’s sleep over it. Basically I care as much about him as he would about me. ZERO. Less than that actually.

      • I am not that far from you. I don’t care about Don Jr. but I just hate addiction taking the life of a father of five kids, I kinda care about them.

But no, I’m never going to be spending a waking minute praying for him. Additionally, the only reason I follow this issue is that the MAGA movement has a real complex dynamic and he speaks MAGA better than the old man now, whipping up crowds. A big change would destabilize them and maybe in a worse way.

        I don’t know.

I’m not that far from you.

    • Yes, I have. A close look. He is no longer in possession of even the slightest bit of his faculties. He was once the U.S. attorney for SDNY, one of the most prestigious positions in the U.S., he was not only talented he had rare talent. It’s gone and it’s illness of some kind.

  2. Why should we give a crap about someone who doesn’t give a crap about anyone but himself and his dear OLD dad? Are we supposed to always take the high road, rest assured if this was Hunter Biden looking like a street junkie in a suit, Don Jr wouldn’t waste a moment jumping on Hunter and calling him a drug addict and would probably say that Hunter somehow deserved it and that if Hunter died it would somehow benefit society. I’m tired of everyone else having to give a shit about Don Jr when he doesn’t extend the same empathy to others. Speaking for myself I wouldn’t lose a moment of sleep if Don Jr did die as a result of his drug abuse or disease if anyone deserves it Don Jr. does. After all the hate the Trump family spreads what goes around comes around.

    • You don’t “have” to view it one way or another.

I’m not comfortable rooting for a horrid disease to wipe him off the face of the earth and if he was somehow broken down in treatment, he might well emerge a different person. Many do.

I am not saying anyone “needs” to believe what I do, but I personally choose to believe what I do, I don’t follow the liberal “high road” or anything of the sort. In fact, Im often very proud to call out the liberals’ tendency to “I can out-liberal you!” over various issues.

  3. As someone who has seen addiction up close, I’m willing to lay money on Junior being seriously coked up (possibly alongside one Kimberly Guilfoyle AKA Discount Evita Peron). But beyond that, he’s a man who knows the end is near…and that he’s going to catch a lot of blame for his father’s business, rightly or otherwise.

    • I find your comparison of Guilfoyle to Evita Perón to be utterly reprehensible.

Eva grew up in poverty and remained absolutely dedicated to the PEOPLE of Argentina, even with all her fame. (The people were largely indifferent to Juan and, after Eva’s death, he didn’t stay in power all that long.) Guilfoyle has absolutely no dedication to anyone except Kimberly Guilfoyle. Even Don Junior is merely a means to an end in the world of Kimberly Guilfoyle.

      • Looks like you missed the “Discount” part of my statement, Joseph. From that, you should have extrapolated that Guilfoyle was a cheap copy who would never come close to the original, virtues or faults of the latter aside. Evita is who Guilfoyle wants to be and will fail to be. Why get offended by that?

    • Thing is when someone with an addiction is facing big trouble of some kind, their way to deal with the problem is to be ever more under the influence – because that’s the only way they can survive the trauma of the problem. Jnr knows stuff about ‘Dad’ that we likely do not yet know, and he knows if his father is taken down, then all hell is going to break loose for him too – he is in agony over his potential future- – hence being ‘sloshed’ one way or another all the time ! Watching people do drugs or alcohol is horrible for all of us who have to be around them since there’s so little you can do to help them, so I’m sorry his life is obviously collapsing, but he has followed his father into the pit, so there’s a price to pay & we p- The rest of society – need to see the price being paid !

  4. Here’s a thought-maybe donny jr. and rudy for that matter, are starting to fear their upcoming trip to prison. If I were in their shoes, I’d look sickly as hell since prison will not be kind to them unless they get a trip to Club Fed. Even so, their lives are pretty much kaput.
