The Herbert Hoover comparison is anything but fair, thank you. After both World Wars, he helped with hunger relief efforts (his role in WWI’s was what got him the WH). Trump’s version is eating everything on the table before the food goes bad.

The comment about “There is another” was made by Yoda to Obi-Wan, after Obi-Wan fears that Luke is the last hope in defeating Darth Vader (and, at that point, the Empire–no one really knew how powerful Palpatine was in his own right; it had been suggested that Vader was basically Palpatine’s loyal “muscle”).
It’s also worth noting that Obi-Wan was just a ghost when the comment is made (having been killed off in the last third of the first “Star Wars”).
