The fact that Trump and the MAGAs are entirely bereft of all shame, Trump rage-posted on Truth Social that the equally outraged House government oversight committee will review Biden’s sons (Plural) and Biden’s brothers, trading on his name to make financial deals. Chuck Todd recently sputtered to Sen. Ron Johnson, “It is not a crime to simply use a last name to make a deal.”
Good thing, too, for Trump. From Forbes:
The Republican National Committee (RNC) reportedly paid more than $300,000 to buy copies of Donald Trump Jr.’s new self-published book, according to a report by Daily Beast, which were eventually given out to donors who had contributed between $50 and $100 to the RNC.
Is the RNC going to give a six-figure deal to anyone with a last name other than “Trump”?

Lara Trump, a former adviser to Donald Trump’s re-election campaign who is married to the former president’s son Eric, is the latest contributor added to Fox News’ roster.
The announcement came Monday during “Fox & Friends” when co-host Ainsley Earhardt welcomed Lara Trump by saying: “Let’s bring in Lara Trump, former senior adviser for the Trump campaign. And we have a big announcement. She is a new Fox News contributor. Welcome to the family, Lara.”
The deal was canceled in December. But it started based on Lara Lee’s last name. Moving on. From NBC News:
Ivanka Trump pulled in almost $4 million in revenue last year from her stake in the family hotel near the White House, documents released by the White House on Friday show.
Trump took in $3,952,480 in revenue from the Trump Old Post Office LLC in 2018, up slightly from the amount she reported in 2017, her financial disclosure form shows.
As we have seen, since January 6th, the hotel has been a giant money pit. Its only value was as a place where Trump supporters could gain favor by spending money there while he was president. Ivanka took home some nice cash.
So today, Trump puts this out, finding it utterly outrageous, even with scant evidence – the only announcement was that the HOUSE Oversight Committee will “investigate it.” As you will note from the above, the Democrats never investigated the clear conflicts of interest. Below Trump’s shameless announcement, there is a CNN report that the House Oversight Committee will be looking into the Biden family trading on his name. There is no evidence of impropriety in the report.
