Granted. In all the evidence gathered by the January 6th Committee, including from other witnesses, texts, all of it, it seems to be conclusively proven that Jared Kushner had nothing to do with January 6th, nor the fake electors scheme, or the DOJ “fraud hunt.” I haven’t even heard any evidence that Jared was involved in filing the initial lawsuits.
I can confidently say that Jared Kushner, Trump’s top “advisor” and the staffer with the most blood on his hands (Middle East, COVID), was not a part of any post-election crime. But when testifying to the January 6th Committee, while Kushner was under oath, we didn’t hear anything about “knockdown drag out fights.” So this should be read with some skepticism. As reported by Mediaite:
Former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and top White House adviser, Jared Kushner, described to author Chris Whipple his aggressive confrontations with then-President Trump following his loss in the 2020 election and subsequent allegations of voter fraud.
Whipple’s new book, out this week, The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House, includes a section in which Kushner recalls “knock-down, drag-out screaming matches” with Trump.
Interesting. Again, I don’t recall hearing any of this when Kush was under oath. Perhaps Kushner now sees the direction this is going and feels the need to embellish the story. I do not doubt that Kushner somehow conveyed that he’s not going along with this and – admittedly, with Trump, that would likely lead to a screaming fight. Jared describes what he said to Trump:
“With all due respect, I’m not going to like what you are doing, and you’re going to be screaming at me,” Kushner reportedly told Trump while debating with him about the debunked claims of voter fraud.
Jared is on the right “side” of history. But he’s no hero.
No, if Jared Kushner wanted to be seen as a hero of the post-election period (too late for the term), but if he wants to put himself out there as the voice of reason and a guy that wouldn’t support Trump’s attempts at a coup, he would have resigned the moment he heard the plan and found the nearest microphones and started talking about what Trump was considering doing with members of Congress.
Don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back, Jared. Your buddy MBS might have it cut off with a bone saw.

[email protected], @JasonMiciak, SUBSTACK: BIDEN COULD BLOW UP MCCARTHY AND GOP BY TOMORROW

What a twerp. While I’m sure being married to the orange one’s favorite child had it’s difficulties, Kushie profited mightily from his time as Chief Advisor (and enabler). No, 2 years later he professes that he argued about the “stolen” election but kept his mouth shut while the big lie proliferated and is now a “truth”.
Sure Jar-Jar. Yank on the other leg – it’s got bells on it. I couldn’t help but notice your mentioning his perhaps deciding to “embellish” his attempts to avoid what he knew would be criminal liability in the post election stuff. Maybe he called up George Santos for some tips!
Anecdata. Two years after the events.
