What a day. Maybe this is how April is going to go, crazier and crazier still until it’s summertime and you can fry an egg on the sidewalk. You caught Madison Cawthorn explaining to Nancy Pelosi how men had tally whackers, right? Now, you need the bookend piece to that madness, which is Marge Greene telling the world about Adam’s rib.

Oh, Marge. If Adam had created you, he would have taken out another rib and beat you to death with it. We hate to be the one to tell you, Marge, but it’s true.

Here is Xian and “good wife” Marge Greene.

She is supposedly slated to win in a landslide in her district. Do the voters there live under rocks, or what? They actually want this to represent them in Congress?

And in other breaking news, Donald Trump wants another judge to be appointed in his Florida case against Hillary Clinton because Bill Clinton appointed the judge 25 years ago. This makes sense to you if you understand Trump’s tribal analysis of everything. A judge appointed by Clinton couldn’t possibly rule impartially based on the facts and the law, s/he’s got to rule based along tribal loyalty lines. Or something. It will be interesting to see if he’s able to get the judge replaced, for no more compelling reason than Bill Clinton having done the appointment.

Then there is this: Lauren Boebert can’t spell Mickey Mouse and she’s got copyright and trademark mixed up, but by gosh, she’s a lawmaker and we’re not.

You see the common thread in all these stories from today. The people “making news” are sheer morons. They don’t have the facts straight. They don’t understand what they’re talking about and the only reason they’re talking at all is to keep their relevancy quotient going in the world, not because they have anything to say.

Of real value, they have nothing to offer. That goes for Cawthorn, Greene, Boebert and absolutely for Trump.

And they’re all Republicans. Mitch McConnell, get yourself a mop and a broom and some Lysol and clean house. Maybe hire an exorcist or two as well.

Maybe Trump will start serving kool aide soon. It’s about the only thing left to do.

  1. The Republicans are Con artists, please ? don’t dwell on the Vaudeville Act begging for attention. While these antics are getting clicks, that’s who they are, shiny things. The real Legislation we should be paying attention to gets drowned out. It’s not Government, it’s entertaining Bullshit.
    Tune in Tomorrow, I guess

  2. These people make me think that fundie church schools and home schooling should be banned, because it clearly fails to educate people for the current world.

  3. Please do not denigrate homeschooling. People homeschool for many different reasons. Universities have found that homeschooled children are well-prepared to succeed in their college studies.

  4. Had to check out a story with “tally whackers” because I haven’t heard that expression since Mojo Nixon’s song “I Hate Banks”.

One of my favorite lines from the song:

    Republicans one and all,
Their tally whackers are mighty small.

  5. “Oh, Marge. If Adam had created you, he would have taken out another rib and beat you to death with it. We hate to be the one to tell you, Marge, but it’s true.”

This cracked me up. Made my night!
