Eric Greitens has been accused of domestic violence, as you have no doubt heard. His antidote to those accusations is to record a threatening video, directing his vitriol at the Senate Minority Leader. Umm….doesn’t that sorta kinda maybe reinforce the idea that you’re not the mellowest guy, Mr. Greitens? Just asking.
A seething, raging, unhinged video threatening the Senate Minority Leader is probably not the most persuasive thing while claiming you are not a violent person, but what do I know.

Maybe Greitens should just invite his enemies to Thunderdome, ya think? I think it’s a swell idea. He and Mitch can enter and we’ll see who walks out. This is delightful. Disgusting and delightful at the same time. Not to mention deranged. Only in the GOP, circa 2022.
Every day in every way we are seeing the Republican party unravel. The fringe crazies in the party are all rallied beyond the Big Lie and Trump and going for McConnell’s jugular. This is how nuts it is and remember, there’s an election in November.

This disappoints me. Greitens was the most beatable candidate the Democrats could have hoped for. That he would implode before the primaries really bothers me. We should hope that he can hold on long enough to get the nomination. This helps the few “normal” rethugs in the race.
Oh, do have a LITTLE faith in the GOP’s newly established ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And less in “normal” Republicans being left in any appreciable numbers.
Given that’s something we’ve had a history of doing it would be nice to see the GOP do it for once! We’d be bucking some serious history to hold on to either the House or the Senate (given how close the split it in both) much less both of them. But signs of the GOP forming a for-real circular firing squad seem to grow with each passing week.
