Who would ever have dreamt of a brave new world where people called upon other people, via their thumbs on a keyboard and did everything from validate a coup d’etat in progress to castigate one another for lack of support in a political contest? We may have never imagined such a day, but here it is friends, here it is.
Katie Arrington is the heir apparent to the congressional seat currently held by Nancy Mace, who, alas, disappointed the Dreamsickle Deity and has been excommunicated from the faith. Arrington has communicated with fellow South Carolinian and Trumpite Mick Mulvaney, who, guess what? doesn’t like her. Or, at least he likes her opponent better, because he endorsed Mace.
Well, Arrington didn’t like that, and so they got into a dual of thumbs and here are the text images. Kudos to Crooks & Liars.
Another miracle wrought in the Age of Trump: now I concur with Mick Mulvaney. Who knows what other wonders will take place as we trudge inexorably towards the midterms, which, as you see here, are promising to be totally lit.
Arrington is competing to be a new addition to the extremist fringe of the House of Representatives, along with Mellissa Carone and a few others cut from the same bolt of cloth as Sarah Palin, i.e., dumb as a rock, either uninformed or misinformed, but arrogant as hell, believing that she who insults the best is somehow the victor in a contest. We’ll see what the primary brings. Donald Trump is like the Trojan Horse. He was bad enough but the characters that he brought into government along with him are positively ghastly.
