You find some real jewels on Twitter. This is one of those times. Talk about saying the quiet part out loud, this is screaming it. As always, I double checked to see the blue mark and determine whether this was a parody account. So far it looks legit.

Critical Race Theory is a big nothing burger. It used to be the title of an academic course of study which examined the history of Black people on the North American continent, and then it got bastardized into being a slogan for POCs hating whites, and there it stays.
And apparently the Grand Old Party sees it’s way clear to keep pushing that white-hating, white-baiting narrative, and polluting the process of Judge Jackson’s confirmation hearing. At the very least, there’s no way that this imagery is helping that process.
The GOP should talk to some of its members. Mitch McConnell does not see this as a high stakes confirmation. He sees this as a very routine matter. It’s trading a liberal justice for a liberal justice, no biggy. This is nowhere even near the same ballpark as the last confirmation of a Supreme Court justice, following Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death.
On the other hand, maybe the GOP has spoken to its members, and while it lacks the votes to stop the confirmation of Jackson, there’s no reason not to do as much of a smear job as possible. Maybe that’s the rationale for this image.
