What you’re about to hear is pretty wild. The Republicans, for reasons known best to them, have decided that the pre-midterm cause de celebre is to torment Dr. Anthony Fauci. Maybe their strategy is to obsess on 2020 and 2021 so that the emphasis on how out of control inflation is in 2026 doesn’t get as much airtime. In any event, here is Tuberville, who vows that eventually he will “be the governor of Alabama,” and he will keep Dr. Fauci in state court, “every day of his life.” Sympathy to Dr. Fauci for being 85 years old and having to put up with this level of witchhunting.

Yes, Tuberville is characterizing Fauci as being worse than Hitler. That’s for openers. Rand Paul was bad enough but now Paul and Tuberville, together? That’s a rough one.
So expect relitigating the past, as opposed to dealing with the Epstein files, Iran, or inflation. History repeats itself and what you’re seeing is the 2025 version of the McCarthy witchhunt. Just give Trump a moment or two, he’ll find a way to make COVID and Fauci part of a communist plot.
