My. My. My. Wait til you hear the latest from Petey Boy. He has yet another weird idea for the military, and this is a good one! Where he comes up with these, we’ll never know (his wife?), so he’ll keep going and going and going until the time when someone is going to have to kick his a$$. I hope you laugh as much because this is FUNNY. With no further ado, and assistance from CNN:
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Wednesday that he is rolling out a new screening program for “testosterone deficiency” among troops, calling it necessary to allow them to operate at their “absolute best.” The screenings will be conducted annually as part of service members’ required medical screenings for those 30 and older, he said. Troops under 30 can volunteer to be tested. In a video on social media, Hegseth said receiving testosterone replacement therapy would be voluntary. In the video, Hegseth simply refers to troops, though it appears he is talking about only testing men in uniform for hormone irregularities.
Really? You have got to be kidding me. Testing for testosterone. This is funny as hell to write about, but when you follow this through, it becomes “he wants to do WHAT???!”. Can’t see that this has anything to do with troops performing at their absolute best. Not to mention that it’s kind of insulting. We also know Petey Boy does *NOT* like women in the military because he’s fired a whole bunch of them without considering their qualifications and experience. They have proven themselves over and over to get up to those high ranks, but chauvinist Hegsdeath won’t even look at what they’ve done. Instead, they get fired or pushed out of a role where they are highly capable and highly qualified. His chauvinism continues to get blatantly worse. And voluntary? That lasts as long as you get “asked” to volunteer. You don’t have a choice when you turn 31. Nope. No way. Where in the hell does idiot Petey Boy get these damn ideas? Because he needs to stop with this bull.
When asked about what conditions Hegseth was looking to address with the new policy, the Pentagon referred to Hegseth’s remarks in the video that talked about keeping troops “strong, resilient and capable” and that the rigors of the modern battlefield demand “maximum psychological and mental readiness.” Over the past several years, special operations troops — and specifically Navy SEALs — have come under scrutiny for their use of testosterone and similar substances to enhance performance. The death of a SEAL recruit during training in 2022 led to the discovery of substances in his possession, including testosterone, and revealed far more rampant drug use among the elite program than was previously acknowledged.
Go read that article about the SEAL is you can spare a few moments. It’s eye-opening. *Really* eye-opening. If there is such a rampant use of performance-enhancing drugs, why is Pete Boy so hyped about testosterone? It seems to me that it’s going to push our soldiers *more* towards drugs, and that is most assuredly *not* something we would want to encourage in our soldiers! How many more have died because of this? How many of our soldiers sneak these enhancers every day? Okay, yes, I’m ranting. We’ll move along a bit more, and then we’ll close.
Sen. Tammy Duckworth, an Illinois Democrat and Iraq War veteran, said the announcement sounded “like gender-affirming care to me,” referencing Hegseth’s stance against transgender troops. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, a Pennsylvania Democrat and Air Force veteran, said the “announcement proves that Secretary Hegseth takes direction from the far corners of the manosphere.” Hegseth has previously said he does not believe women should hold combat roles and that those positions should be based on the “highest male standard.” He has blocked some military promotions for women or fired female leaders since becoming Pentagon leader.
Let’s say OUCH to the comments by Senator Duckworth and Rep. Houlahan. They are 110% correct here. Hegseth, the typical male chauvinist pig (how can his wife stand him?), is losing good talent and experience by refusing to promote women or firing them. This is just one more reason he needs an attitude adjustment, and no one can get it done. And it’s also another reason to detest the bantam rooster walking back and forth on a stage, yelling, and showing he has no idea what he’s talking about. There is one thing. He’s *really* good at embarrassing our military on the world stage. What a thing to see. No wonder the war with Iran is such a mess. He’s clueless.
