There are some questions about Trump’s physical from Walter Reed. He has gained weight. But the problem is that the report says he’s in great shape. How can he be in good shape after everything we’ve seen or have come through on his manic Truth Social rants? He took the cognitive test again, too. But he’s just fine and dandy. What’s going on here? With appreciation for Raw Story:
The White House released a memo late Friday regarding President Donald Trump’s most recent visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and one key detail in the report stood out among onlookers. According to The Washington Post, the president’s height was listed at 6’3, and his weight, 238 pounds, 14 pounds higher than his health exam in 2025. While the president’s height has been in dispute, with some critics suggesting Trump is shorter, it was Trump’s weight that drew attention among onlookers.
We’ve seen what he eats. He rarely gets anything resembling “healthy”. Of course, that would be anything he would eat besides McDonald’s. Has he even done that? We remember when he invited a team to the White House for dinner, and it was all, probably cold, McDonald’s. Why they didn’t turn around and walk back out, we’ll never know. He is shorter, and he does wear lifts. All you have to do is look at the picture of him and Gavin Newsom in silhouette. Trump is leaning forward. There ya go.
“The commander-in-chief is ‘near the threshold of clinical obesity,’” noted retired U.S. Air Force colonel and administrative law judge Moe Davis on Saturday in a social media post on X. //// “The 238 was deliberately selected because it is on the ‘overweight’ side of the BMI obesity border,” wrote Richard Donelan, who says he’s a retired principal senior assistant special counsel, in a social media post on X. //// Liberal political commentator and podcast host Vince Wilson noted: “Based on Trump’s reported height and weight, he would fall into the borderline obese range on the BMI scale.” //// And foreign policy strategist and author Brahma Chellaney questioned how – and why – the president had gained 14 pounds in the span of a year. “What’s behind Donald Trump’s unusually rapid weight gain?” asked foreign policy strategist and author Brahma Chellaney in a social media post on X Saturday.
Apologies for the wall of text there, but they brought up some interesting points. The BMI scale is hooey in MNSHO. It takes nothing else into account. Height and weight are not good statistics to use. But until someone (please!) figures out a better way to do it, we’re stuck with it. But back on topic, Trump gained 14 pounds. This is not surprising in the slightest. If you look at all he has going on (illegal Iran War, the Revenge Tour™), he has a lot to worry about. Yet, when it comes down to it, yes, it’s odd.
Trump is borderline obese on the scale for “public consumption”. He has to be considered obese on the correct scale, the private one. Then, add in the swollen ankles, the dragging leg, the crazy Truth Social posts all night, the hands, and the breathing. There’s a lot more going on that we don’t know. He took another cognitive test. And everyone is scared to get him out of office. This is ridiculous. This is stupid. This is dangerous.
See you soon!
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
