Time for some humor! It all has to do with Kra$h and his, shall we say, extras that are a tad … excessive. He lost his cool with another FBI official. He completely, totally just lost it. Great thing to do for being the head of the FBI. He’s just another imbecile in Trump’s ‘cabinet’. They seem to be coming out of the woodwork. We knew the ‘cabinet’ would be filled with sycophants, but the behavior? Holy cow, look at the top four. Blondi and Gnome are gone (whew). Now we have a toss-up between Kra$h and Petey Boy. FBI Director Kash Patel exploded at one of his own officials who dared suggest that assigning a full-time SWAT team to protect his girlfriend might need an ethics review, according to a bombshell New York Times report.
The clash came after FBI officials recommended Patel seek a legal review and threat assessment to determine whether the lavish security detail for his country singer girlfriend Alexis Wilkins — who lives part-time in Nashville, a city away from Patel — was ethical or even necessary.
Gosh and golly gee, that seems how it should be. Is it legal to use FBI resources for her? And does she *really* need all that? Your writer lived in Nashville for quite some time. There really isn’t any need for a huge security detail and so forth. Now, parts of town might have changed since being there. But overall, no, it’s a good place. Never had any fear. Last we knew, she wasn’t that popular. If there was a chance of being mobbed by fans, we haven’t heard about it. So.
Patel’s response, according to three people briefed on the incident, was to berate one of the officials, declaring that his authority alone was all that was needed.
An FBI spokesman denied the account.
“The claim that Director Patel ordered agents to do anything improper, or berated agents, is completely false,” spokesman Ben Williamson said.
Suuuure it is. He’s the boss, and he can do what he wants. So, if he yelled at an associate, he did. These people have no reason to lie, and every reason to tell the truth. They know how to be discreet. Kra$h is going to have to answer some hard questions. And it gets better or worse, depending on how you look at it.
Patel has assigned four SWAT agents and two SUVs to guard and chauffeur the 27-year-old Wilkins around Nashville on personal errands, a setup that a former senior official estimated costs taxpayers roughly $1 million a year, before overtime and other expenses. No previous FBI director’s spouse or partner has ever received a full-time government security detail.
The revelation lands amid a cascade of damaging stories about Patel’s tenure, including an FBI investigation into a New York Times reporter who profiled Wilkins, a $35,000 concert suite during an FBI jet trip with Wilkins, and his ordering of agents to drive his girlfriend’s “inebriated” pal home.
Good grief. No wonder agents are speaking out. With everything Patel has been doing, and then adding in the whole situation with his girlfriend, well, something has to go. With any luck, it will be Patel himself getting kicked to the curb. He’s definitely had enough things come out in public that also embarrass Trump because he chose him. Trump won’t take much more of this. Well, maybe, but we can hope. He’s gotten rid of four already. Heh. He has a couple more to go.
