Steve, Steve, Steve, you need to calm down before your blood pressure shoots up or you force a heart attack. His rantings are definitely amusing this time. Usually, he just pisses me off, or rinse and repeat stories. Sometimes it’s worth the effort to be pissed, since this guy is such a moron. He never gives up and never gives in. But he’s aging and not doing very well with it. He really does need to chill before giving himself some sort of physical issue. He’s fat, ugly, and nasty. Can’t stand him. Of course, that’s the point. The more people who hate him or slavishly agree with him, the more media time he gets. Anyhow, moving on, with thanks to Raw Story:

MAGA influencer Steve Bannon flew into a rage after Virginia voters approved a redistricting referendum that is likely to benefit Democrats in the midterm elections. During his Wednesday War Room broadcast, Bannon blamed Republican consultants for the loss.

“That’s just more consultant lobbyist crap!” he exclaimed. “And now in Virginia, it had something that was so fricking winnable. With the people putting Trump on their shoulder and say, we’re not going to let it happen. And of course, the consultant says, shh, you don’t want to bring up Trump because we might upset Democrats.”

We, of course, are perfectly happy that the referendum passed. Now it’s a matter of “who has what”. That’s going to take some time to work. But they have the go-ahead, courtesy of Virginia voters. Bannon doesn’t like that, not at all. Sorry not sorry, dude. Try a little harder next time, because there will always be a next time.

According to the MAGA host, Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) was “running a color revolution.” “She’s trained by the CIA!” he insisted. “Right? The foreign-born deep state folks up there [are] infesting the entire Commonwealth. That’s their plan. And that’s their plan everywhere. Because that’s how they win.”

Defeat after defeat. Now it’s a crushing, now they turned over the whole frickin’ state,” he continued. “It’ll take us a decade to dig out of this. A decade of those grassroots going door to door.”

Oh, lawdy, that deep-state thing has raised its ugly head again. *yawn* It will take a decade? Sounds good to me. Now they have to work for those votes, instead of assuming Trump will influence everyone and they’ll vote Republican. Trump is not exactly in good odor these days. They would be better off doing things without mentioning his name. The polls continue to plummet him down, down, down.

You’re damn right, you’re going to lose the Senate because you’ve given nothing for people to work for. Complete total group of scumbags, Cornyn, Lindsey Graham, John Thune, the whole lot of them!”

In the end, Bannon argued that President Donald Trump could not be blamed for the loss in Virginia. “I can’t hold him culpable,” he said. “And right now, folks, take your number two pencil and write this down. We ain’t going to be in power!”

No, Steve, you “ain’t”. It’s your own damn fault, starting with Trump and going down the line from there. Republicans were content to rest on their laurels, thinking it would be an easy job to win the midterms. Well, he and they should have paid attention to the state races. They said a whole lot about how disgusted people are with the Republicans in power. That includes the stupid-ass war.

That includes the Big Ugly Bill. It includes the economy, gas prices, inflation, the whole lot. Republicans are in power, so they will be blamed for all of this, with the possible exception of the war. The war was all Trump and Hegseth, and blowing up everything. Damn thing, that war. Now Republicans have to actually work at retaining their seats. They had better know how. We are not content to rest on our laurels. We are fundraising, meeting, and talking to our constituents. We have the ball rolling and intend to keep it that way.

So Steve Bannon can rant and blather and complain and moan and bitch and lament the situation all he wishes to. It’s not going to make a difference. Republicans have finally realized they’re in for a battle. They’re behind the times. Far behind the times. Awww.

See you tomorrow!

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

  1. Bannon seems to forget that it was Drumpf who started this whole redistricting kerfuffle whe he “suggested” that Texas make more GOP-friendly districts–something that was done by state legislators WITHOUT ANY input from the voters. Virginia, like California previously, chose to put it to the voters (California had to do so due to its official board that redistricts independently of the governor or the legislature). And I wonder if Bannon will be outraged when the Florida Legislature is convened in a few weeks for a SPECIAL session designed SOLELY for the purpose of redistricting–once again WITHOUT input from the voters.

    • We haven’t forgotten. I had not heard about the Florida re-districting. Thank you for that. This disenfranchising voters is rediculous.

I certainly remember the day of the Trump-forced redistricting in Texas. I wonder who owes Trump what in Florida. I’m guessing it’s DeSantis trying to get into Trump’s good graces.

      This is bullsh!t.

  2. Bannon knows full well what’s happening and why, but he’s now shit scared of going to the slammer once the dastardly Dems take back the House (at least). He’s long planned for rigged mid-terms and is now having to consider that so many voters will show up, despite the armed thugs he wants at polling places, and cast their votes just as the Constitution guarantees, that no amount of rigging will work. Just like in Hungary, the erstwhile model of how MAGAt wanted the USA to be. Expect more tirades from Sleazy Steve as GOP approvals drop ever further.

    • I really can’t stand Bannon but his panic made me laugh, so I did a piece on it. Definitely looking forward to the GOP drop on my part.

It would be so nice to have him go to jail again. But I’m mean (lol)

There are going to be midterms come hell or high water. And they won’t be rigged. People are already working against that rigging so we have some hope.
