Ships are going through and Donald is ready to pop a vessel.

Yes, airstrikes have been taking place but the real issue in the war with Iran is a small spot in the ocean – that narrowing of land that forms the Strait of Hormuz and that makes this a Naval matter. Not that Trump knows any more about Naval warfare than anything else. Hell, I laugh at the thought of him just walking onto a ship in port. Even one as big as a Battleship or an Aircraft Carrier. He’s THAT terrified of sharks. I’m surprised he lives at Mar a Lago given that even he could hit a ball from the house to the ocean!
No, he’s a pretender as President and Commander-in-Chief and doesn’t know or care about Naval operations or controlling a swath of ocean or land within range of our ships. He just struts around with his title and trappings of office surrounded by suckups and cheerleaders. It made me think of Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore and the flouncy old fart who keeps touting (with his ‘sisters and his cousins and his aunt’s chiming it like his Cabinet and so many Congressional GOPers) that he’s the “Ruler of the Kings Nay-Vee.”

Somebody should try to explain a “ceasefire” to Trump, not that he’d understand. It means the guns stop, that’s all: no deal, no peace treaty, not even any agreement other than to stop shooting. While Trump rants, and the Iranians allow shipping to begin moving again, let’s hope some negotiations are occurring. That’s usually the raison d’etre for a ceasefire. But if Kuschner and Witkoff are the negotiators, then good luck USA.
