He never thinks ahead. He only lives in “now”. If he hadn’t started the war in the first place, we wouldn’t be worrying about oil and gasoline. The place across the street from our complex jumped $0.41 per gallon *overnight*. All because of his war. All because he thought he had to go along and help Israel. Well, Israel is certainly an ally. He wants to redo Gaza in gold and tackiness and lose money (as normal). There are other factors at play that I can’t explain well enough, so onward, with my regards to Raw Story:

Day by day, I grow more incensed at the LACK of forethought in this mess. Of *course* Iran would close the Strait. Of *course* we need supplies. Of *course* we need competent leadership, not manly man bullsh!t machismo “Secretary of War” Petey Boy. We need a competent Commander In Chief, and there’s no way in hell we have *that*, either!! Trump says, “Do this,” and everyone else has to figure out how while he goes off to golf. Our military has babysitting duty while Iran has a nice leisurely window to attack them! Well done, sir! The sarcasm is strong with this one. *ahem*
Trump wrote the following on Tuesday on his Truth Social platform. “Effective IMMEDIATELY, I have ordered the United States Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to provide, at a very reasonable price, political risk insurance and guarantees for the Financial Security of ALL Maritime Trade, especially Energy, traveling through the Gulf. This will be available to all Shipping Lines.
If necessary, the United States Navy will begin escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, as soon as possible. No matter what, the United States will ensure the FREE FLOW of ENERGY to the WORLD. The United States’ ECONOMIC and MILITARY MIGHT is the GREATEST ON EARTH — More actions to come. Economic? Coulda fooled me. Our economy is in the toilet. Military might, possibly. I don’t know enough to even pretend to speak about it properly. That insurance? Another grift. Let’s hope that no one falls for that. If we could turn back time and not have Trump in a second term, wouldn’t that be lovely? Something to daydream about? He shouldn’t be back there. He is grinding the country down to nothing. He has multiple illegal grifts going on. And now he has a war. Those aren’t good for the economy. Frustration, anyone?
