Nothing infantile or deranged about this. No, this is quite normal — if you’re Donald Trump. Trump thinks this is an appropriate way to depict his political adversaries. Karoline Leavitt said that it’s because, “President Trump is the king of the jungle and Democrats are depicted as characters from the Lion King. Now could you please report on something that’s important?” Whut? There’s something more important than a vile racist slur against Trump’s adversary, the former president of the United States, Barack Obama? And his wife, no less?
Maybe it’s as simple as that. We know that Donald Trump is consumed with envy of Obama, for all kinds of reasons: Obama is smarter, handsomer, better educated, more respected, the list goes on. And he’s not in the Epstein files.
Or, it could simply be that Trump’s dementia is getting to him. Meanwhile, Leavitt wants us all to think that it’s our fault. It’s our focus that is wrong, not Trump’s blatant racism.
