These are all gunwielding *men* wearing masks. Evidently we have a secret police force in the United States now because COVID is long gone and these aren’t the same kind of face coverings anyway. I’m not clear who the recipient of these threats is, but I am inferring that he’s a reporter (and a ballsy one.) A group of thugs approach him, screaming at him. This is not for the faint of heart, trying to cover the doings of these characters when they are this keyed up.
You need more training to manage an In-N-Out Burger than to be handed a badge and a gun as an ICE officer. Let that sink in.

This isn’t a law enforcement branch. These people are jury, judge and executioner all rolled into one. I am glad my skin isn’t brown, although neither was the woman who got murdered a few days back in Minneapolis. It’s strictly a question of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I hope that we’re not going to see armed combat in the streets between ICE and civilians. But it could come to that. America is a powderkeg right now. I would not be surprised if the next time an ICE group breaks into the wrong house — which has happened, most notably in Texas — that they’re met with lethal force. Not wishing that on anybody, merely noting that Americans are not going to meekly submit to this level of harassment, certainly not in the privacy of their own homes. I can honestly see people in certain states arming themselves. And that is nothing short of tragic.
If I recall correctly, much of the rightwingding justification for the 2nd Amendment, and its proliferation of combat-capable weapons amongst the civilian population, was to protect us all from a rogue government. Well, MAGAt, that’s what we have now: a federal govt hellbent on terrorising and brutalising innocent American citizens. So no surprise nor outrage, please, when some of those citizens start firing back.
The only problem with that is that Trump will use it as an excuse to invoke martial law and then we’re a police state. I don’t want to see it come to that, but maybe you’re right. I’ve been reading the same thing on social media.
So scary! And you are right, Ursula. tRump would use any incident of citizens even threatening to fire at ICE thugs as an excuse to escalate HIS insanity.
Not only would use it – but WANTS to use it. And wouldn’t that be a distractions from the Epstein Files! I say, don’t give him what he wants – ever. But that doesn’t mean people on our side, especially those already trained, shouldn’t stay qualified,. and those not trained who want to get one shouldn’t get one and train thoroughly.
Given the prevalence of guns in America today, it’s safe to say that some sort of shooting incident is guaranteed.

Maybe it’s no coincidence that Drumpf hasn’t ordered more ICE operations in places like Texas and Florida where the 2A seems more revered than the 1A. Yet, both those states would seem more likely to harbor a bunch of “illegals” despite what their MAGAt-friendly, Drumpf-ass-kissing leaders would have their people believe.
What is truly frightening is this: go to FUX News website and read anything about the MPS murder. Then read the comments. Horrifying that these goobers watch the same thing we do and spew their nonsense. I have no more Fs to give them.
