If you read anywhere that Moses Mikey is losing control, disregard it. He has lost control. He is a mere poster child for the House, he is not the Speaker. This was conclusively proven today when Johnson addressed the press briefly and did his usual know nothing act. His Freudian slip was when he said, “We have steady hands at the wheel.” No, Mike, we have a lunatic steering the ship of state hands free. That’s what we have. It’s a Freudian slip because it’s what Johnson wishes were true but knows is not and he can’t figure out a good enough lie about it all. At least not consciously. Forget about Congress. This “Congress” — at least the lower chamber — is a rubber stamp machine for Trump, with no input, no explanations, just obfuscation and running away to bring to the party.

Another Freudian slip. Nobody is trying to pit him against the White House. The reporter is trying to determine if Congress, in its wisdom, has plans to authorize some kind of military incursion on Greenland, since the acquisition of Greenland is a topic often spoken of. But Mikey can’t handle the heat, very simply. Mikey should probably get out of the kitchen.
But then again, I have been saying for some time now that nobody would be more relieved to see Hakeem Jeffries take the gavel than Mike Johnson. It’s going to be a long year but he’ll get his wish.
What a coward. What a wimp. And it’s gotten worse than it was last year. And don’t forget, the press pool is picked. The problem is that no real question of any weight can be asked of Johnson. That’s why he’s a weakling. He has no leadership, only the title.
