Former Rep. Kinzinger Raises A Harsh Question Bondi Doesn’t Want Asked

I’ll make this short. Sweet? Not one bit and in fact for Team Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi it’s as bitter and sour as it gets. When it comes to the Epstein files Bondi is like a wasted drunk  person trying to do fancy tricks with a yo-yo and that chunk of files keeps whacking her in the head as she tries to district people with said fancy tricks. As you know DOJ has suddenly said million Epstein related files have turned up, seemingly from out of the blue. Former GOP Representative Adam Kinzinger is calling bullshit.

Others need to join in until the chorus is so loud Bondi will be begging the Witness Protection folks at the agency she runs to hide her somewhere far, far away. Those million possibly related Epstein files weren’t stashed away somewhere secret. They were known to and stored with the most prominent sub jurisdiction of the DOJ. The “Sovereign” Southern District of New York!  As this brief article from Raw Story tells us Kinzinger is putting Bondi on the spot:

Adam Kinzinger over the weekend took to social media to raise a question in light of the DOJ saying it was newly made aware of the million more Epstein documents.

Writing on X, he said, “So in spring, [Bondi] said there was nothing to the Epstein investigation, then ‘closed’ it. Now, they ‘find’ 1 million more docs.”

“So did she close this without seeing these docs?” he then asked. “Or was someone hiding them?”

It’s a blunt, simple question that cuts through all the bullshit and noise Bondi and the rest of Team Trump are trying to create about Epstein. To a MAGA even it boils down to was Bondi lying in the spring when she closed the Epstein case claiming files the DOJ had were a nothing burger? Or is she lying now saying NO attorneys at the famed SDNY and main DOJ  EVER had any conversation about that trove of files sitting there at SDNY?

Remember (and remind anyone who’s forgotten) that the Epstein case was being prosecuted by the SDNY up in New York. They had him nailed. Way more evidence than was needed to win a conviction and a solid team of prosecutors was familiar with it all. So were folks at main DOJ back then during the first Trump administration and Bill Barr was AG. You can be damned sure he was monitoring what was going on. So, we have a lot of people in BOTH places that knew about all that evidence, a MILLION files worth of it.

How could Bondi NOT know about it? She’d asked for files and made the boneheaded comment she had stuff on her freaking desk including a ‘client list!’ That might have been a bit of an inaccurate description but that list of co-conspirators with all the names (except for victims of course) redacted might have been what she was thinking of when she shot off her mouth. That, and any other list would have had a memo explaining it.

Whether it was a single box of files or several I also know SDNY would have had a cover memo to basically say ‘This is just the start – we’ve got LOTS more. If we printed it all out it would fill your office. It will be easier to transmit the bulk of it electronically so let’s work out the details on us getting it to you ASAP.’ That friends is what Kinzinger will I predict be on news shows talking about in the coming week. As I’ve already said I hope plenty of others and on a bi-partisan basis will be echoing him.

Other than Susie Wiles and Stephen Miller Bondi seemed most safe from any purge Trump might do after the first of the year.  However Bondi set herself up for a spectacular fall by a) leaving a secure post in Florida to become Trump’s legal enforcer who’d break the law in ways Barr simply wouldn’t do, and b) shooting off her mouth right after becoming AG about having Epstein files and that ‘client list’ on her desk. AND that as soon as she was done reviewing it that it would be released right away.

It was only after not finding anything implicating Bill Clinton in wrongdoing other than staying as far away from Epstein as possible (he’s got plenty of company on that) but that Trump’s name kept popping up. It was a true Uh Oh moment when she realized how much covering of Trump’s ass she and her department would have to do.  She, or a senior aide touching base with SDNY for a ‘summary’ on Epstein would have been a no brainer. It’s also a no-brainer that they’d provide things she didn’t expect or want to get. AND let her know there was about a million files worth more where what they sent her came from.

Bondi hoped word would never get out. It was just too big a secret to keep and if the news means Bondi won’t be having a Happy New Year but wallow in misery and wake up each day with an epic hangover I won’t shed a tear for her and neither should you.
