Well, can’t say this was completely unexpected, but it’s still … irony? This is coming back to haunt Trump. What I wrote about on Wednesday has had some additional information on this … episode, I guess you could call it, in Trump’s life. Is this sorry excuse for a president that contemptible? Raw Story on Christmas Eve reported on a file released by the DOJ, which shows a purported victim linking Donald Trump to the currently still unverified murder of a newborn baby, and the internet erupted with people flagging the potential crime.
The day before Christmas, we reported that Trump’s name had appeared on a newly released Epstein file in which a self-identified victim made allegations about a newborn baby being murdered and dumped in Lake Michigan. The Justice Department released the file ahead of Christmas Eve, in which an unnamed individual, on Aug. 3, 2020, was looking for an update on the status of their earlier complaint. The report listed the victim’s unnamed uncle as the perpetrator and Trump as a witness.
Being a witness to this heinous act is damn near as bad as the man killing the baby and throwing that tiny body into the lake. What sort of person does something like that??!!! *And* the girl being trafficked on *top* of all that ?? You would think that this kind of person doesn’t exist, and police shows are stories. We’re wrong. Damn, these Epstein files are bringing out things we didn’t want to know.
The newly released files do not show that federal law enforcement agents or prosecutors suspected Trump of wrongdoing. A statement released by the DOJ read, “Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election.”
“To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already. Nevertheless, out of our commitment to the law and transparency, the DOJ is releasing these documents with the legally required protections for Epstein’s victims.”
Suuuure they are. In today’s world in the US, if this claim had been against a *Democrat*, they would have weaponized and smeared that person with these in a heartbeat. But since it’s Trump, they are saying the claims are false. Hypocrisy, anyone? Now, we have no concrete way to know if they’re true, and we really have no way to verify. But still. Redact, redact, redact. Cowflops, cowflops, cowflops. What a bunch of hooey. Those 1,000 agents must not have done their jobs “well enough.” But if you think of the sheer volume of files we have this far, and it’s a LOT, well, not surprisingly, something was missed.
But the bizarre baby story proved to have some staying power online. Journalist David Shuster flagged the document on Wednesday, writing, “DOJ document EFTA00025010 shows FBI received a tip in August 2020 about Trump-Epstein. Allegations include the 1985 trafficking of a 13-year-old girl. When the girl gave birth, Trump allegedly helped the girl’s uncle murder the infant and dispose of it in Lake Michigan.” The file actually alleges that Trump was present, but it doesn’t say he took part.
A popular political commentator known as Supertanskiii went even further, saying, “The most rich and powerful men in the world have done (and likely still do) the most heinous s—, yeah, including child rape and murder.”
Good gods. We had some knowledge of subjects in the files, but nothing that included this. And we have to know we can expect more nastiness like this. There’s a lot that was “in the background” that wasn’t in public knowledge. This turns my stomach. No matter how tough you are, something like this is repulsive. So, what’s going to come out next? Shall we hope for more about Trump?

Doesn’t it just. That’s unsettling. really, Really, REALLY unsettling. Finding out who it actually was. Oof.
The good news, if you can find any in a story like this, is that this woman came forward, possibly because her uncle had died. The FBI has redacted her uncle’s name to protect her identity, but if she chooses to go public, everything will spill out. My take is that there are other infanticides lurking in the files and other women may come forward. No statute of limitations applies here, which must keep the alleged witness awake at night.
This thing just gets darker and darker.
