It started with one simple question. One question with a yes or no answer. That’s all it was, and it blew up from there. Mikey has been listening to Donnie Trump for far too long. He danced around the question. He wouldn’t answer except for some bs. Obfuscate, bluster, anything to give a non-answer. We can bet he’s really nervous behind that mask. He’s lost a bunch of Republicans as it is. Will more be coming in January? With thanks to Raw Story:

Speaker MikeJohnson (R-LA) insisted he had not lost control over the House after Republicans signed onto a Democratic discharge petition to force a vote on extending health care subsidies. “Look, we’re working through very complex issues as we do here all the time,” Johnson told reporters on Wednesday, downplaying the discharge petition. “Everybody’s working towards ideas. We’re keeping the conversation going. That’s what happened.” “Have you lost control of the house?” CNN’s Manu Raju wondered.

Soooo sounds to me that he has lost control and can’t admit it. What do you think? Was it just a non-answer, or was he trying to hide something? It certainly sounded like he was hiding something. “We’re keeping the conversation going.” “Very complex issues.” Y’know, extending the ACA subsidies is NOT complex. He had plenty of time to vote on the subsidies because that is NOT complex. It really seems to be a yes or no question on the ACA assistance. And it really seems to be a yes or no question regarding control or not control. Of course, if he said yes, his orange-faced god would have a hissy fit.  So it isn’t no either, it’s maybe. Well, let’s see what else RS has to say:

“I have not lost control,” Johnson insisted. “Because this is the third time,” Raju shouted. “We have the smallest majority in U.S. history,” the speaker explained. “These are not normal times. There are precedents and procedures in the House that are less frequently used when there are larger majorities, so that when you have the luxury of having 10 or 15 people who disagree on something, you don’t have to deal with it.” “But when you have a razor-thin margin, as we do, then all the procedures are on the table, and that’s different,” he added. With that, Johnson declined to take additional questions.

Yeaaaaaaah. He’s lost it. All the fancy words in the world will not hide something forever. Apparently, somehow, he’s forgotten about the Epstein files. He had a serious open rebellion on that one. It looks like we have some Republicans rebelling more than once these days. That works for us, and it allows us to add something to something, for example, so we can expedite a discharge. We’ll take it. In the meantime, we’ll watch for more disgusted, angry Republicans and see what else we can do. Midterms are coming. They’d better worry!

Friends, I know everyone begs you for money, especially around the holidays. I promise, among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
