I think that when I arise each morning I may start facing east and intoning to the sky, “Thank God I am not Mike Johnson.” I’ll start my own religion, maybe. Johnson is a tragic figure, like a character in a novel, because he’s cornered. He’s between a rock and a hard place. He’s got to protect the Pedophile In Chief from the Epstein files but he can’t, because each passing day brings him that much closer to the inevitable. He cannot keep the House out of session indefinitely. He cannot refuse to swear in Arizona Rep. Adelita Grijalva. He cannot prevent a vote on the Epstein files. So what are his alternatives, setting fire to the drapes? Who knows? But right now Mikey is showing the stress.
KARL: I mean, you could swear in Adelita Grijalva tomorrow, right?MIKE JOHNSON: No, not tomorrow. We couldn't. We wouldn't.
My God he is lame.
His “I’m lying through my teeth” tells are stammering, lip licking, and excessive blinking. All on full display in this interview. His repetition of the “unified government” line just means he does that the Felon tells him to do.

A unified government — but they still can’t govern. Not that this is the first time. It’s not and it’s not the last. But definitely Johnson is the weakest Speaker in history. That’s not my sole opinion by a long shot. Meidas Touch reports that Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA) says: “I don’t like to do ad hominem attacks, but I’ve served with 4 different speakers. This is the fifth one. He is by far the weakest speaker, I think, in American history.”
A dead pedophile controls the GOP
Again – if he refuses to work for the people, he should not be allowed air time!!! Period. Start making that the norm.

Johnson is the weakest Speaker and he looks and sounds it. He is strictly Trump’s yes man rather than a leader of the lower chamber and a power broker in his own right. History is not going to be kind to Johnson. Fate put him in a position that he is woefully underqualified to fill and he simply does not have it in him to rise to the occasion. He can’t stand up to Trump. He has famously said, “I don’t control him,” but that’s not the issue.
Johnson doesn’t need to “control” Trump, Johnson needs to be able to reason with Trump and if need be, stand up to Trump. He can’t do any of that. All he can do is lie pathetically, like an old dishtowel in the sink.
Meanwhile, the clock ticks down. Ask not for whom the bell tolls, Donald, but time’s moving on whether you like it or not.

what is the big hype over a discharge petition when all it does is being a bill to the floor & if passes goes to a president to veto, sign, or if doesn’t do any thing with it in 10 days it becomes law. So ask yourselves is Trump going to sign a bill that releases the Epstein files??????? Btw Bob Dylan is the prominent rock star in Virginia’s book. The oversight committee mentioned a rock star is in the files.
The discharge petition will allow a vote on a congressional resolution, which is not subject to presidential veto. The resolution will allow the House to subpoena and release all Epstein files possessed by the Department of Justice, an action within the constitutional powers of the House. That’s why Johnson is so anxious not to bring the House back into session.
Although I have seen many characterizations of Johnson in the media lately, I haven’t seen the one-word description that fits him best: he is a TWERP. I think we should start referring to him as “Twerp Johnson.”
